That made me laugh. I'd say she approves of your flare for spider home design! She seemed aware of her surroundings throughout that process, esp when you reclosed & turned the container around in her new enclosure, in the way she reacted to that maneuver and then to the brush, no panic or fright whatsoever, more a kind of resignation, then "awright -- New Home!" Quite a spider!
Little tip here: take off webbing from old enclosure and put little bit of that at the mouth of the starter burrow. spider will more easily reconigze there as home
I've discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I love it. My husband must pay some attention to what I'm watching. In September I caught severe Covid and have what's called long Covid..hubby has been taking wonderful care of me and we find laughter can cure most anything. One side effect of either the virus or the medication I was given for the month in ICU has caused major hair loss..well I'm happy to say it's growing back, but it's coming in grey..at dinner the other day hubby started laughing and told me to swallow my food. He then called me his little beastie and said I was molting..we almost fell out of our chairs laughing. Keep up the amazing work.
Hi Dave and Camera Lady, hope you're well. What a cracking video again, I could watch you all day. It's not only the in-depth knowledge you have about your little beasties, but the way you make up their enclosure/homes. I sit and view your video and I know what the differences are in old and new world spiders. What's the difference in tarantula and real spiders. I know this now because of You 🕷🕷🕷 I can tolerate the rather large house spider I've seen about the place too, without squealing like a girl 😂😂😂 Take care and stay safe you two 😘 xxx
This species was my very first old world T. Got the little guy when he was the size of a raisin. Still not quite big enough to see the pretty blue yet, but he's grown so much and got a rehouse into a 20x20x20 just recently. I was expecting some bolting, but it actually went super smoothly. Been in the new box about two weeks and has already dug 3 connecting burrow enterences. I love how busy the little dude is. Your girl is absolutely gorgeous too, definitely one of my faves.
MAN I wish I had the Moss and stuff that you have where you are. Semi-arid regions are great for tarantulas, but lacking in the vegetation. These rehouse videos are my favorite, and I don't even know why!!
If it turns out it's because you like the designing aspect, you should check out Serpa Designs. He makes some amazing things that would be great to watch while waiting for Dave's next video ^-^
Love, love watching the rehousing, the homes you make for your spiders are amazing 😃😍👍🏻. Your spiders are very lucky to have you and Camera Lady as their owners. Side note: miss seeing Miss Brazilian White Knee hanging in her enclosure next to the desk 😕🥺. But I bet she’s loving her new enclosure 🏡😊👍🏻
I find this so funny.. your calm and gentle approach even calms me down a bit. My wife has been in the hospital for 5 days now and might be for a few more. I didn't realize how tense I was until I watched your video.. Being a loud and gun-ho type of fellow always feeling I can handle anything. I realize now this has got me a bit shaken a bit. At 70 years we are in the going home zone and I do not know what I would do with out her.. Well GOD knows what he is doing and this has help me come down a notch and felling like my old self again.. Thanks David.. you do things with your videos that you have no idea about.. Just thought I would share this to let you know... HI camera lady.. Health and blessings to you and your horde
Morning my friend I hope your good wife is home soon and on the mend , so glad you have gotten some relief from our videos, tell her she is in our thoughts ❤️❤️❤️
She was a well behaved female spider despite her reputation as a speedy, easy defensive and sometimes bity spider! She has beautiful blue legs and was curious on her new great looking livingspace! It's easy to understand that it isn't a spider suitable for a beginner in this hobby! Even a docile tarantula can be very speedy when they want too! Thank you Dave and Sweet Camera Lady for a interesting video and I wish you both a great new week, take care 🙂! Hugs from Susanne 👩🦳 and Trollet 🐱 🐾 ❤!
She's so big, but you say she's too young yet for breeding. WOW she must get huge. And fast. She is very lovely to look at. You are so calm and so cool, I don't think I could do it! But Dave- you make it look easy. Kudos to your skill!🕷❤🕸☮
Hi Dave! I love your videos! I’m somewhat of a calm person. So I ordered old world’s right away. I have no fear. I’m a retired veterinary technician. Never had fear of animals since a kid. I just rehoused my electric blue in a new enclosure. Omg they are fast!! Rehousing went fine. Got my heart going a bit, but I love a challenge. They are so beautiful. The camera looks good but in real life it’s just so much more beautiful! Love camera lady too! She’s doing an awesome job. Just love you guys ❣️
What a lovely lady you have there Dave!! She's one fast girl! Thanks once again for an amazing video! Anyone that's new to the hobby I always refer them to your channel. You sir, know you business when it comes to taking care of spiders!! If anyone needs to learn how... you can teach them!! Keep up the amazing work🥰
Another awesome video. I love how she felt comfortable enough to come back out immediately to have a walk about. Most usually stay hidden once they hit the hole. I think she heard you say you were disappointed, and she felt bad. LOL! If she is that brave, I am sure she would have no problem nipping someone that got to close. Thank you again and I will be waiting to see if she webs the crap out of it. 🕷♥️

My arachnophobia has turned into quite an interest in spiders. One summer we had quite a black widow season, they were behind every corner all over town.
