A little correction on the H2 AE86: It is a _combustion_ H2 engine. It doesn't use any fuel cells or motor. It is _exactly_ like a normal combustion engine but instead of gasoline, it uses Hydrogen gas. Best part is that the H2 AE86 uses the _exact_ 4AGE engine but it runs on H2 gas!
Great to see the carbon neutral AE86s finally making it on the list! Toyota is going against the grain and they're challenging everyone else about it too!
As one of my favourite parts of being a car guy is exhaust sound, I'm VERY excited and hope to see this take off. And it could me the way to preserve all combustion engine cars.

the editing on these videos are hilarious. im genuinely happy this series is here to stay
any lego car that has the steering wheel connected to the steering uses rack and pinion. those $300 lego technic models are actually pretty good value if you’re into cars. they give you a lot of basic information about how cars work. they have rack and pinion, double wishbone suspension and a differential. also has a very basic model of an engine, but it does show how the crankshaft turns the piston’s linear motion into rotational motion.
$300 is a lot to spend on lego, I don’t have a lot of money and i have a couple of them, because they’re just really cool to be able to show to someone and be like “this is what a differential is, this is what it does”
I saw the crash on the Copa Truck race live, I was on on my grandmother's house for a visit, and then she changed to the channel where the race was being transmited, and we both were surprised as hell seeing the crash. While she was concerned about the driver being alive, I was chill since I knew that rollcages and other advanced protection systems exists in motorsport today, I got to explain her the driver was in perfect state because of the rollcages, it was a funny day XD

That video from South Korea is interesting; according to Road & Track, SK dominant culture has turned so hard against car enthusiasts and racing that pretty much everyone now has a dashcam and will send video straight to the police if you speed near them. Apparently, a burnout can lead to jail time and some especially advanced Karens will report cars just for being modified. If there is a meet or a show, the police will show up and start recording license plates for future reference.
It's really hard to imagine a place more enthusiast-hostile than Australia, but apparently South Korea has managed to pull it off. Why is it that people like that always get to be in charge?

6:26 All true about the Miata with snap oversteer, but this wasn't about being too slow with the driver's steering. He was too early. The driver here made the mistake of letting go of the wheel to free-spin the steering out of the corner when the car was still experiencing turn-in, even though he was counter-steering. The tires aligned freely with the car's velocity too soon, and the front end shot out of the line in the direction of the outside, which set up the spin-out.

9:14 I see these cars sometimes where I live. It’s called the Hyundai Tiburon here in America and they look kinda cool whenever I see one.
I own one - they were cheap when they were new, and they are *DIRT CHEAP* now. Two reasons for that: front wheel drive, and relatively little power in stock form. The 2.0 liter has a little lackluster power delivery, and the 2.7 liter V6 eats a lot of gas for the horsepower it puts out (though it does put out an impressive amount of torque). However, all parts that matter are metal, the cranks are forged, there's plenty of room in the engine bay and behind the bumper to install intercooler and turbo. The 2.0 has an iron block and is great (and cheap!) for turbo builds, the V6 has an aluminum block and pairs well with a centrifugal supercharger.
The only sticking points for turbo projects is sourcing and installing a suitable replacement ECU.

9:47 Uh, objection from a farmer here! The turbo on this Volvo may sound better, but the engine sound itself is definitely beaten by the 1995 CASE IH MX135, which we own. And *that* is the best sounding tractor out there. Give it a listen. There's plenty good videos about it out there.
