Hey Unmesh, thank you very much (again) for this simple but effective "trick". Thanks for your work on this and all the other videos that helped me and thousands of other people a lot already. :-]
Dear Sir, i have watch almost all of your videos, and i cannot express my thankfulness and admiration of what you do for me,dare i say -US! You are absolutely one of a kind ! There is no other like you ! Thank you for the incredible tutorials ,they are straight to the point, nothing useless ,no distractions,no nothing... Just pure knowledge ! Keep up the incredible work ! Admiration!!!
I don't use shapes or paths much in my work (though that has been changing recently) but I still find it valuable to increase my mental toolbox with videos like this. So thank you for that.
You sir, are a Rockstar! I am a taught by job requirements and or self-taught (by Adobe Tutorials and RUclips) graphic designer by trade. Until this video, I was unable to figure out why the merge shape components was greyed out. Thank you for all your videos, they are SO helpful!
I kind of hate a lot illustrator....this vid gave me so much life by making it easier for me to not use illustrator and just use Photoshop! Unmesh you are The Greatest!
Been using Photoshop since 2013 and in every video I learn something new. I don't think I'm ready to call myself graphic designer even if I already earn money as one hahaha
OH MY FCKING GOODNESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been doing some pseudo-vector illustrations in Ps lately and I haven't even noticed this feature! I feel so terribly stupid now! 🤣🤣🤣 The reason why this is great is that I can now finally create "clean" shapes that looks like I've done them without even having to merge two shape layers with identical colors. Oh my gooooooood. You really are a blessing Unmesh! You really are born for this! Haha 👍🏻
😮It's insane how I keep learning new things in Photoshop, even though I've watched a lot of tutorials and use it professionally everyday! I was actually trying to merge shapes in Photoshop today at work, but was facing a lot of problems and so I made the shape I wanted in Illustrator and imported in PS. PS really needs to get a bit better when it comes to handling shapes!
Hi! Love the video, but my issue is slightly different, was hoping you could give me a tip :) I am trying to create a rectangular frame around an image (for a t-shirt), and would like my brand name to become part of the bottom of the rectangular frame, so not simply on top of the rectangular frame, but to blend in, so that the text becomes part of the rectangular frame, for a cool effect.. Any tips and hints? Thank you!!
Hi Unmesh, I want to create a polygonal shape and then place a circular shape, or any other shape, perfectly centred on each corner of the polygon. To do this, I use guides, because there is no snap available on the corners to accomplish the job quicker. Do you know how to activate the snap feature for the purpose or any quicker alternative? Thank you
Hello umesh absolutely it is helpful. And I want to suggest a new video. White balancing techniques, how to reach great exposure and correct skin tone. Sometimes it's getting wrong. Thank you... ❤️
I've no knowledge about PS ... I don't even know the version of PS u re using in this video but i want to learn everything...and graphic designing as a skill ...pls suggest me a video to learn the basics and which PS version it is ....so that i can download 🙏🏻
This video is actually really helpful. Thanks you Umesh for sharing, and I also want to know, is there any possible way to make a rectangle's corners in to round corners, like we can do in illustrator by using direct selection tools. Thanks :)
Hi, that's a good tutorial videos, but let me ask you, this (merge shape components) video tutorial can only be done with the version of Photoshop you use, or it can be done with an older version like CS6 Extended which is what I have? Well, I went step by step with your video tutorial, and when making the combinations, in the icon where it shows the different shapes options, all of them appear activated except for this option (merge shape components) which is there but deactivated. Let me know if with the version of Photoshop CS6 this option can be done or not (merge shape components) Thanks for your tutorial videos, they are very helpful.
When I see length of this video I think 🤔 very short video! And when I watch other's videos, 5 minute videos look too long. It's yours magic umesh sir. Actually half paragraph is translatable by Google hindi to english 🤣 Please make tutorial on speaking English 🤗😁
hi guys, is there a way to perfectly INSET copied complex shape? (doing it on a circle is so simple - just copy and resize, the space inbetween two circles is perfect parallel - but doing it on complex, resizing doesn't help, spacing become unequal)
