I hope Thorin makes a Reflections with Dardoch sometime soon. Would be very interesting to hear his version of events of all the teams he has gone through.
I want nothing more than to hear his take on Brokenblade saying that he was glad that TSM lost out in Spring 2020 because it meant that Dardoch would fail too
I'm starting to think Thorin has a twin. Only way he could put out this much content. I watch more of Thorin than I watch the content of all other platforms combined :D
Aphromoo has almost always been on teams that have exceeded expectations, meaning the team has usually been greater than the expected sum of its parts. His influence clearly exceeds his abilities seen on the screen in the game. It was a pleasure watching his career, and he is second only to Doublelift at improving LCS viewership from my perspective.
I love hearing pros who were around back then talk about Chauster. Just such an interesting personality and there always seem to be neat little tidbits revealed in interviews that showcase how brilliant he was as a player (role swapping to mid for a week and shitting on Reginald in scrims in this instance). Feels like we never actually got to see him at his full potential.
Can't wait to see part 2 amazing interview loved watching aphromoo back in the day I also loved his take on teams not following what korean teams did. I think if players just played more suited champions they're strong on they could probably have better results vs international teams because the international teams have less practice vs these picks I still think we live in a world were froggen could pick anivia in early draft and teams wouldn't know what to do
Always love it when Thorin brings the ogs of lcs. I'd like to start a petition to have a reflection episode with Dom, to deep dive in the earliest pro league days❤
Its so crazy to me that a coach doesnt understand that the priority for a team is winning, and rocking the boat when you have a good thing going, there are any number of ways to alleviate friction within a team without ruining a winning formula.
Aphro should reunite with Doublelift and 100T. They would be so much better. Busio is good but Aphro is the goat and the team could really benefit from his shot calling
if NA teams just focussed on their strengths like aphro said, and LS tried, it would make LoL so much more fun to watch. i can only hatewatch Flyquest and TL for so long...
The bit I was most interested in, and clearly the title of the video, is edited and cut short because it was too good to share? That's kind of bullshit....anyway, get Dardoch on - he was always entertaining and really good at the game. I think there are teams that exist now that he hasn't been on yet, so maybe it's time for a comeback?
It makes me so sad hearing all the former pros have all these grest points about how they wish things wouldve been. Like i didnt even think about how having an open circuit and riot not monopolizing pro play effected sponsorships. It makes so much sense that at these events sponsors wouldve been more inclined to just be involved and kind of carve out their place in the space. Man.
I'm a old school player (masters now) maybe i can sum this up. there was a meta at the time were essentially you could do the same damage to top/bot turret so to avoid bad matchups teams would swap bot/top and usually set up some type of dive lvl 3on both tops because the junglers were cross mapped it was not uncommon to see top laners lower level then adcs because they were getting zoned off the wave. Also in later itterations of the 2v1 meta the top laners would just help the jungle clear the jungle then tp back top sometimes (if i'm remembering correctly)
@@MiraPloy Riot never explicitly stated why, but Monte and/or Thorin has said that Riot didn't like lane swaps because the pro meta had diverged too much from the casual/solo queue meta. They wanted pro games to at least resemble solo queue games. It takes too much co-ordination and practice for amateurs and casuals to play 2v1 effectively. Pro games we becoming strategically complex. The weak side of the map was completely starved and it was harder to understand which team was ahead and why. Riot didn't think this appealed to casual viewers so they enforced the standard lane assignments by introducing tower plating and tp changes.
Alittle disappointed. Some amazing questions and setups only to have half baked or “I don’t really remember” responses. It doesn’t feel like he really cares much for the interview.

@@tavproswhere did BB say that
@@sbquang According to Doublelift yeah. I think it was said in his Reflections video during his retirement
I doubt it'd happen. If I recall correctly Thorin said he tried to do something with Dardoch and Dardoch just ended up ghosting him and not showing up
@@Gamefanaticzzlet's just retire in peace
Thank you buttpounder420 for your part in making this series possible.
Have always had mad respect for aphromoo. A person who could elevate his teammates is a golden goose.
dom said it in his last season, this guy can drag any shit team in na to playoffs

trueee hes the content machine
It is quite insane tbh
The movie prestige is based on Thorins life
he has em backed up and releases them at relevant times
he should slow down, theres limited supply of interviews
Dope interview. Aphromoo taking full advantage of the freeze pipe sponsorship it seems :)
8:25 that laugh took me back at least 10 years my God
I particularly like the retired player's reflections, they can be way more open and honest.
Thorin going for the most banger interviews in a row lol
Wondering whom he's going to interview next 😮
I REALLY want a reflections with Dardoch man, hoping one day

fire as always, love that you got this going with aphro , epic US player
Thorin is on some ‘05-‘06 Kobe shit.

I just want to say how incredibly professional it was for Thorin to not let any of the current Doublelift stuff influence this interview. Respect.
Really appreciate this interview. Thank you for the great conent.
Aphromoo surely is one of my favorite early players to touch the game. Great peronality and a long standing record of games and achievements.

I love when thorin comes out of the gate with questions about a players career they hardly remember themselves.
It's wild that CLG wanted to put Aphro in the top lane. Never heard that story before
halfway through, what a nostalgic banger
damn this reflextions episode is fire! can't wait for part 2. also I hope Thorin does a reflections on Xmithie
Love Aphro, nice to hear someone really lifting up old teammates like that too.
Awesome interview. Wish we got some behind the scenes details for when he was supposed to join Curse as AD but then just didn't happen.
ITS JUST A SIVIR COMP LOL, that meme will forever live on thank you Austin link shin
I'm waiting for some spicy past 100t tidbits. Always wanted to know how the team was fucking up when him and meteos where together.
Sven and now Aphro? S5/S6 me is injecting this content straight into the mainline.

thank you thorin, always putting out banger content
Thooorins next power level upgrade is an instant translator AI so he can do one of these with LPL/LCK without an intermediary.
My man doing reflections wearing a Meze Empyrean.
24:10 Doublelift had the opposite takeaway, concluding that Baron for Nexus was a winning trade.
Man, I remember watching so many of Aphro's ADC streams back in the day, it was actually disappointing when he role swapped.
He will always be the GOAT to me
So sad we didn´t got to see what an insane player dardoch could have been with proper coaches and environment. GG to Na cultur
Aphro should reunite with Doublelift and 100T. They would be so much better. Busio is good but Aphro is the goat and the team could really benefit from his shot calling
Love aphromoo. Thanks for the great content
One day I'm gonna see "reflections" without having a segment on Forg1ven.
But until then I will enjoys these segments :D
Man it’s so unfortunate that we will never have a follow up reflections with Doublelift as long as Leena is mind controlling him
I miss Aphro in the LCS man.
You have that charge if I die in bowling green Kentucky

Lane swap meta
