There are two kinds of musicians, one who leaves the audience wanting more, and the other who leaves the audience so amazed, they can't imagine how there could be anything more. Jake Shimabukuro is the second kind.
It's actually rather amazing that he turned his ham-fisted right hand style into something with such dexterity. It makes it look like he is playing something impossible. He's got to be one of the best out there....
I really wish I could see what he is envisioning in his mind when he played this piece. It's such a colorful pieces. I love this he is phenomenal honestly.
Simone Ammon Have you listened to Paco De Lucia? ruclips.net/video/pmps3Cc-5_0/видео.html Or my personal favorite: ruclips.net/video/NIKWBdthzg4/видео.html
Sophia Baughn took me 8 years to finally perfect his playing style. I can now execute every one of his pieces along with seperate versions of each piece. This was the song I was introduced to. Sounds repetitive out of a person who has reached their goals, but practice makes perfect. Give it time!
What a genius! Beautiful music, exquisitly played. Bravo. P.S. Jake: I'm a bit new to the Ukulele game, is that a low or high (reentrant) 4th (G) string you use here, and what make Uke (or custom perhaps)? many thanks. Frankevich
The first 'song' I learned was the one on jake's channel called 123. It's essentially 3 easy chords over and over. Here's a good video for you though. /watch?v=78nr8QMaUbI&feature=channel&list=UL
When he strums, it sounds like two strings are missing from a guitar... Not even complaining, it's great! lacks some depth, added more clarity and character! Maybe I should get one ukulele myself.
