Eric Benet is the TRUTH! Vocally, what you hear on the cd is what you get LIVE and then some. I would love for him to collaborate with Marc Anthony who is another artist that is vocally AMAZING.
Perhaps the most gifted male vocalist on the current R&B/POP scene......and it's really not practical to put any musical classifications on Eric's "gift", because the brother can flat-out sing......anything. When Luther Vandross was with us, I'll admit.....I was in a fog, and didn't HEAR anyone else. Since Luther's passing, I re-opened my ears to fully appreciate the talent that we had. Eric is, without question, amongst the very best.....arguably, THE best. I love this brother's talent.

He has similar vocal skills and also has shown himself to be a good dancer. They should do a collaboration someday! This song 'Harriett Jones' is very good. .

He truly messed up because now Halle is dating dudes that make me question, "What's really good?" I looked at her baby father and was like what the what? Yeah yeah he's a model and everything but just not what I was expecting to see her with. I also see the current guy and he's a little better but still... Anyway, Eric I hope Harriet will one day let you come home!
