Nothing to add but, I guess this EVH only needs the red channel? I have an amp that's like that, it's on red gain channel almost all the time. With a tube driver too usually. I play the clean channel like three times or so a year. Nice to have occasionally. Later dude.
I love the green and red channel. The blue ismt working for me. Way too bloated. Even after the C137 mod. It does do better with a pedal, but then I can just use the red alone
@GearGasms I don't necessarily like the clean better than a fender or vox, but I like it better than the blue enough to set the EQ for a good clean tone and not using the blue at all really. I set the red channel with enough gain for a lead and just use the guitar volume knob to reduce gain for rythm. I play live quite a bit and this is what has worked best for me. I use the matching 2x12 cab with G12H-75 Creambacks 😎

never got on with the 5150's the blue channel didnt quite have enough gain and the red channel was overkill
