💙 Hey! So I just noticed that I used 3 out of the 5 different ways to tie a larks head knot! Here’s the link to that tutorial: ruclips.net/video/Kc58hRtCNG0/видео.html
I used 4mm cotton twisted cord 11×135cm (to reduce waste) and it still works out pretty well! I ended up trimming about 5cm off so should work with 4mm 11×125-130cm. 😊 really pretty project! Love it
@@rakshamanohar3903 that's true😄 Don't know if it's right to type this here, but I do deal in macrame cords and dowels. U can reach me on insta- mformacrame Or fb group M for Macrame Thank you
Wow!! I love this! You’ve created a beautiful rose with the simplest method, yet it looks so stunning ❤ I’d imagine that it would of taken a lot more time and much more intricate knotting work to achieve this look!! Clever you!! Thanks for sharing xxx
Hi Sheena, Your videos and tutorials are inspirational and wonderfully done! I’ve never done Macrame before & you’ve been a huge inspiration and motivation. So, thank you 💕
My apologies to you also : when i hesitated in accepting your request it was because of this ! I change my mind very quickly and unpredictable , and i disappear without even saying anything : I am sorry but all that system was affecting me ( without reason ) but it was ! Thank you for all and best wishes !
💙 Thank you so much! I agree, the other versions of a Rose knot is either really complex or not very secure...though I really do love the look of the complex one. Thanks for watching 🌹
I LOOOVE this one! I just started doing macramé - and your tutorials are so far the best! I'll do this one for my yoga studio 😀 But I'm having some math trouble... I have a dowel of double size = 40 cm / 16 inches.... Should I then do 7 or 9 roses? And do I just add up on the lengths of the cords (fx. divide your length by 5 (roses) and then multiiply by 7 or 9 (roses) ? THANKS!
💙 Hello 👋🏻 so happy you love it! 🤗 ….to answer your question, what I would do is cut the length of cords at 90 inches (228cm) so that your finished wall hanging will be around 30-40 inches in length….as far as how many rose knots to tie, I think what’s best is to experiment. Attached your running larks head cord as per the tutorial and then attach your reverse larks head cords as you go and create your rose knots as you go as well. Whatever you feel fits comfortably is how many Hope that makes sense? It’s a really easy and forgiving wall hanging. Let me know how it goes 🤗
Many many thanks , It is a relief to find you well !!! I look at my dropping out of the group to be a failure in some extent , but actually it was only because my health it is not enough for so much ! I wish you all best success !!!
Is very rare to find a good person , I can see no resentments on you , that is amazingly remarkable !!! My obeisances to you and your beautiful inspired personality !!!
💙 You’re very welcome, thank you for watching. The easiest way to find driftwood is of course along a body of water. Mine is mostly found around a river. Also any nearby forests have some weathered looking wood, it just takes a little while to dry out...and finally, if neither of those options are available to you, Etsy has some sellers
Thank you thank you for your wonderfull rose macrame- your explanation was very clear and i succeeded to make it in a lilach cord - i am sorry i cant show you - i dont have instagram ....simona
💙 Hello 👋🏻 the fishing line is an option “tool” that’s used to help pull all the cords through the top to form the berry knot...kinda like a large threader ☺️
💙 Hello, the 10 inch fishing line is what I often use to help pull a group of cords through a smaller space, kinda like a large threader. It’s not needed but very helpful
💙 I usually write both! I’m surprised I didn’t in this one 🤷🏻♀️ ...11 inches is 28cm There’s several different conversion calculators you can find online

Thank you for the tutorial! It’s calm and slow enough that it’s easy to follow. Can you recommend a source for driftwood pieces?

That’s a berry nice rose knot. (Haha - get the dad joke?)
💙 hahahaha I LOVE Dad jokes, they are my favourite! 😆
Hola me gustaría saber cuanto es el largo de cada cuerda ....esta hermoso el proyecto me encantaría hacerlo
Hi!! This looks so pretty!! What are the approximate size of the finished piece?
💙 Hello 👋🏻 I’m not sure the exact measurements but I believe it’s roughly 6 inches (15cm) in both height and width
Lindo!!!!
💙 Thank you!
Can we use a 6" dowel instead of 8" dowel. Will that create any problem ?
💙 You certainly can use a 6 inch dowel. Your wall hanging might have a slightly larger swoop than mine does is all 😊
