  • This video documents my business visit to the second biggest oil palm nursery in Nigeria.... It shows you how nursery is being established, managed and maintained. The nursery is owned and operated by the Nigeria Institute For Oil Palm Research (NIFOR).
    Nifor is a leading world class research Institute in genetic improvement and research that focus on five major tree crops: oil palm, coconut palm, raphia palm, dates palm and Shea tree.

      60 seedlings per acre.... osun state is good for oil palm

    But didn't you say that good rainfall is one of the requirements for oil palm? Nasarawa is defo not going to have enough rain. Will it not be challenging?

      Nasarawa and Abuja are last areas where oil palm will survive productively..... They still have considerable rainfall unlike core northern states.... Nasarawa is a central State

So planting seedlings from an hybrid tree is not advisable? I notice you always talk about tenera. I read research papers that say Supergene yields more than double tenera. Can you help with supergene as well.?

      No such thing as supergene... If there's super gene NiFOR will still be the first place to grow such. Stop listening to scammers who will coin anyword to get money from you.
