For the nexus game the math works out like this. 11 power from left lane gets sent to mid lane. Iron Man then contributes 3 more power. 14 power then gets doubled to 28 power mid lane which gets sent back left lane and on right lane. Right lane receives both 11 power from left lane and 28 power from mid lane for 39 power from other lanes, then contributes 7 power from its own lane for 46 power total. That 46 power then gets sent back left lane, being added to the 11 power and 28 power from the other two lanes for 85 power left lane. Mid lane also receives that 46 power which Iron Man then doubles to 92 power added to the 28 power in that lane already for 120 power. Left Lane is 11+28+46=85 Mid Lane is (11+3+46)*2=120 Right Lane is 11+28+7=46
You did that math so much more simply than I did. I still hate the solution though because the power mid lane passes right gets doubled, added to, sent back, and doubled again. It feels really dumb.
@@MathMischief Incorrect. The 14 gets doubled to 28 before being sent to the right location. Then it gets added to and sent back as a 46 which then gets doubled again. 14x2 is more than half of the power behind that 46 that gets doubled. Game is jank.

Before legion came out, every content creator told me this is not how it would work, and a legion played on turn 5 flooding would make everything turn 6 still flooding and not flooded...... THEY LIED TO ME.
There are already Rhino and red stone (and snowguard), magic, scarlet witch and your own storm. That are a counterplay. Plus you'll need to draw 1,5 specific cards out of the deck by turn 4. So I don't see it as a huge problem.
By the wording, Legion working this way with Flooding instead of how Mirror Dim works makes sense. Mirror Dimension happens start of turn and locations seem to update in order of appearance so Mirror will always copy Flooding before it turns to Flooded, and then doesn’t update itself. Legion should be changed to turn the other locations into “new” copies of the location you play him at, so that they’re fresh floodings.
I got this card last night and its disruptive potential is so high I have been crushing all sorts of decks, it feels weird because I got this card for fun and most of my cards in the deck I am using him are the very bottom of the meta almost, but it turns out that sometimes locations are the biggest enemy of your opponent and if you can increase that downside it may crush your opponent or yourself. Either way it is quite hilarious, turning all locations into rickery bridge on turn 6 feels like such a funny prank lol just make sure you have at least 1 card in each location to maximize chance you will win or tie lol (lets be honest it is 90% of the time going to be a tie lol) I i am loving this card.
I had a good one where my opponent played a shuri and I turned everything into altar of death. I was winning the other lanes so it was fun to a 28 power redskull explode!
Funny how you mention legion keeping people from playing their powerful cards on 6. Iceman, yondu, and ham already do that. Ham needs to be reworked to transform a random card considering it's a 2 cost, used to be a 1. Tech cards typically hover around the 3-5 cost, and ham is one of the best tech cards.
Different cards, different possible problems. Yondu sees play basically in destroy, and it's being cut from there too; he destroys the top card of your deck, which may very well be a 1 energy card, so I don't know how he stops you from playing your turn 6 (unless we're talking about decks that run Chavez, which often include her just to make the deck more consistent). Iceman can't hit turn 6 plays. He can be a frustrating card, but he doesn't stop you from playing a 6 energy card. Ham is very strong, but it only hits your highest energy card in hand, so while frustrating, it doesn't necessarily delete you turn 6. Legion, on the other hand, has the power to lock all your lanes, so that no cards can be played. It's not just his interaction with storm either: locations such as central park, or savage lands sometimes can have the same effect. While the cards you mentioned hit other cards, restricting your plays, Legions affects the entire board. Sometimes he's a Prof X for all three locations, with more power and more flexibility. I think those things are pretty different
He's not more of a problem than storm juggernaut. But this deck’s horrendous. It definitely needs work. Every deck out scales it. Even with no turn 6 the enemy has more power than you can get.
Today I formatted my computer. When I installed Marvel Snap again, I saw all my progress was lost, 561 hours. And since I am an f2p player, I worked my ass off to reach 5.990 collection level. Since I didn't ever make a Google or iOS account, I don't know if it can be fixed. But seeing how stupid the game has become with H.E., Legion, Jean Grey, the fact that if you don't play specific cards you lose by default against Red Skull and Taskmaster, also how everyone plays the same exact deck after rank 100, I don't know if it's worth stressing about.
@@jeffsenecal4168 do you know who should I talk to? Because when I tried to reach support, it has only iOS and Android support. I'd really like to get back to the game after some more nerfs/buffs.
Gaming aside I hope you enjoying fatherhood! Im on two under 4 myself and gaming has more or less ended. My PC collects dust. It is 100% worth the trade off. Enjoy every minute of it! It really does fly by.
May be a problem? I think it's certainly going to be and they even said they're going to monitor it. There's no way it's not getting changed, this is just dumb.
One solution for this could be that the card changes not the 2 remaining positions, but only one (randomly). Or.. that the card changes the 3 positions into 3 different ones... If not, the game is going to die very soon.
It’s gonna be like zabu Spider-Man, strong at top but not played enough to warrant quick change. Once cozy or hoogland do a video on it, it’ll be all over ladder and then SD will hopefully fix it
It’s not that strong. Those were so toxic and strong but unless it’s like an ultron, bounce, or shiri-shulk-task deck, you’re going to get out powered immediately and probably won’t catch up! You have to have more good luck than bad to make this deck even remotely work, and it’s just not a better deck than standard lockdown. The DD frofX, storm Jugg, or even just Spider-Man himself is a stronger and more toxic combo! I played for 2 hours and went from rank 88 to rank 84. Destroy, thanos, HE, just about everything beat it easily. The only times I won was when they played a magic, then floated turn 6 or played something like a sera or shuri alone, and I turned their magic off to end the game. An already do able move with storm.
I was waiting on the store reset to claim the free credits. soon as this dude showed up I bought him IMMEDIATELY, even though I now have start saving all over again to buy mu pinned Kitty (I missed the free one). and it seems everyone and their mother had the same Storm+Legion combo in mind

Legion looks like old leader, leech (still broken btw), galactus, etc... If it becomes common ill just stop playing for a few months like i did before and wait for changes.
This interaction getting released as is, does not give me faith in their new playtest team. Supposedly a shift after Zabu, and takes 4-6 months to show . Well now it’s been that long, and I’m certain this team would have released Zabu as is if not even stronger
How does a 3 power Iron man played in the middle location take the score from 51/40/29 to 85/120/46? That's some wierd old school double Onslaught stuff right there.
Gunna take a crack at it. Base power at each location is (11/0/7), snap applies location effects left to right so my thinking is the nexus on the right, doesnt get included on mids calculations for power distribution? So location 1’s power would then become (11 + 11 +29), middle becomes 40 (11+29), my BEST guess, for how right becomes 29, is, 11 from left, 11 from middle being fed from left, then the 7 base power. So thats just figuring out the pre-iron man maths. Mr stark hits the table, ongoing effects are on the stack higher than location effects, but i think base power goes first. Nexus gets applied, bringing the table to 54/43/32. Middles location power gets doubled, going to 86. thats an increase of 43 power. Now, Snap is a well put together game, it has preventative measures to ensure that Iron man doesnt go infinite with this stuff, so its somewhat- safe to assume its only applied once, and then removed from future nexus calculations. thus brings the question, how does one get 85/120/46 from 54/43/32? short answer, ill do the math when im more awake. but i hope the pre-iron man explanation helps someone maybe crack it (edit 1: Just noticed for a brief moment, the locations power is set to 6 when iron mans effect activates, good god this going to get messy) Edit 2: Actually, solving the middle getting to 120 is easier than I thought, left to right rule would mean that, maybe, the 6 power being added to left, brings it to 60 power, which then gets added and doubled with iron man, to be brought to 120?? the math from adding left and right together doesnt come close to 120 so, thats my best guess at that
@@KingOfAllGhouls So using your first set of calculations, it looks like each Nexus location has 3 values associated with it. I'm going to call the first one the "board power" which is the 11/0/7. The second is the base power which is the value that it adds to the other Nexus locations, which is the same as saying it's board power plus the sum of the base powers from locations to the left of it. So that would be 11/0+11/7+0+11+11 = 11/11/29. Finally the final power is the locations base power plus the base power of all locations to the right of it which leaves us with 11+11+29/11+29/29 = 51/40/29..... why is this so complicated.... So with that in mind we now recalculate the 3 power sets and see what happens: The new board power for the locations is 11/3/7, but with a doubling effect on the 3. The base powers are 11/3+11/7+11+3+11 = 11/14/32, but with a doubling effect on the 14. If we double at this stage we get 11/2(3+11)/7+2(3+11)+11 = 11/28/46. It makes no sense why we double at this stage and not later, but this has to be the point where we double because it gives us the correct 46 value at the right most location. Now our calculations for the final value take us to 11+28+46/28+46/46 or 85/74/46. This is almost right except for the middle location which is very off. In fact it is off by exactly 46 points which means somewhow Ironman is doubling the base power of the middle location AND the base power of the right-most location. This sort of makes sense because the base power of the middle location only uses the left and middle locations, but Ironman should double values from either no locations or all 3 locations. What's odd though is that by the time a value from the right location feeds into the middle that value has already benifited from Ironman doubling the middle and left locations. So effectively Ironman doubles the left and middle locations twice. Very weird sequencing, I do not like it.
@dgthunderer you're right! The right location's power gets doubled when it comes back to the middle. It's a bit quirky, but I think the rest makes sense considering the location text "your power here is granted to other locations as well". 1. Start with base power 11, 3, 7 2. Working out each location left to right, the left has 11, so that gets added to the other locations (11, 14, 18) 3. Middle location has Iron Man so is doubled (11, 28, 18) 4. Middle location's power is distributed to left and right (39, 28, 46) 5. Right location's power is distributed to left and middle but is doubled in the middle, so 46 is added left and 92 is added middle (85, 120, 46)
i mean, legion was bound to play with storm, there's no strategic use without it. thankfully, magick is currently in the meta, which will easily be a counter
I’m crushing with legion…. Not using this deck but the lock out component is definitely apart of it. The only deck it struggles with is high evolutionary but even still my deck has beaten it the tempo of HE.
The deck will probably never be a huge success on the ladder since it wins on turn 5. It's the same problem the Wong-White Tiger deck has, every win is a retreat from the opponent which is bad for cubes. Many of the more successful decks are the ones that turn the game around on turn 6 since it opens a lot of opportunity for surprise and snap wins.
I don't know if this is toxic. I guess it is 2nd Dinner I think has said as much with Aero nerf. If you waited around and didn't play cards you lost to Aero. The same is happening here in a nutshell.
Any card that wins uncontested is bad for the game. Old leech leader was also like this. Your opponent cannot play and has one turn to counter perfectly or else they lose. That’s toxic.
@zackeryh250 I get you I think second dinner gonna walk gingerly on this one. Toooo many CCs said this cards gonna be trash. They gonna leave this one with us longer than they probably should lol
I get turn 6 players that get frustrated with this, sera and bounce and surfer... But I have been bullied by those decks for the past few weeks especially bounce... so Im kinda okay with this to bully em back
old galactus invalidate all your early game cards, and also make their knull more strong, legion its the oposite, he makes all early plays even more important
Watched TLSG's video on this deck, seems like it's going to turn people away from the game. I get you can play how you want but tedious high evo legion boring opponents in to submission isn't healthy imo. Plus I don't have nebula, Jeff, or high evo so I'm screwed either way
Boggles my mind that they literally removed the Spiderman + AbsMan combo because locking down 2 locations going into turn 6 was deemed toxic and not interactive. Then they turn around and make this combo. Genius.
This deck makes it look a lot scarier than it is. You can out scale and out power this deck so easily and it's very vulnerable to a killmonger. I mean unless they don't play for 4 turns you're going to lose like 90% of games. I lost 4 ranks! I wish I got to play against these not like opponents all hese streamers seem to get! Instead I just get HE players with amazing RNG
@xxZigxx Hmm. Not saying it's unbeatable. More confused they deemed a combo that did it 3 cards and only impacted 2 lanes as being toxic. Yet there is an easier combo that shuts down all of turn 6. It's a stupid idea. Magik used to be able to be played on 6 but extending the game suddenly on 6 was considered toxic. That's when she got bumped down to turn 5. It's less of a comment on the power of the card and more of a concern on its overall design given past adjustments to avoid this literal situation
@@WadeWilsonKingofAsgard cuz it’s no where near as bad. Spider-Man on his own is still more toxic and way worse than this combo. Dare devil prof X is way more toxic and strong. This combo isn’t good. It won’t be meta at all unless they make him 4 power or something. This card isn’t going to be good and will only be played for power really. If they nerf his power he’s going to be another snow guard. The reason they had to nerf the Spider-Man absorb combo was because it was really strong! It’s was a feels bad that almost always ended with your loss when your opponent played it. If my opponent played this, I’m snapping because there’s almost no way I lose because it’s just that bad.
@@xxZigxx Naw, it is just as, in their words 'unfun'. They literally nerfed a much harder combo to pull off, which only locked down 2 lanes. Zabu + Spiderman + AbsMan. Because blocking two lanes on turn 6 was considered toxic and not interactive, that specific combo was not stronger. They then make an easier to pull off combo which shuts down the most impactful turn for most decks. Keep in mind, this isnt an argument of 'Can it be countered?' Every deck/card in this game has some sort of counter. Galactus, as an example, had a dozen different ways to counter him. It is more of the design thought behind it that is honestly concerning. Spiderman + Absman + Zabu, locks 2 lanes, too strong per their own words. Storm + Legion, locks 3 lanes, blocking out one of the most impactful turns is somehow ok. Magik was changed from being able to be played on turn 6, because a surprise turn 7 on the most impactful turn of the game was too strong, again, their words. Galactus and Spiderman combo, blocking out turn 6, was called out for being unfun and too strong. Hell, their own words on spider-man in general -Spider-Man’s ability to prevent the opponent from playing a card at his location on the next turn makes him frustrating to play against-. So I am concerned when they go and make a 3 lane spiderman-esque combo. Based on adjustments of the past, the fact they released him, as he is, is the concerning part. And Legion himself being 8 power on release is crazy. Magik, Absman, Spiderman, Galactus, Storm, Rhino, Prof X, etc, cards that shift locations and/or lockout the board state are generally speaking a tempo loss to make up for their effect. He is not a tempo loss. He is 1 power away from being Chavez. This isnt a 'I cant beat this/this deck is unbeatable' comment. It is a concern on the design and release of the card given every single adjustment they have made to the game in relation to similar cards.
@@WadeWilsonKingofAsgard dude this is a harder combo to pull off in only that you have to have the cards by turn 5, but even so it’s not worth it. Those other combos were so much more toxic and unfun! This isn’t anywhere near it! Because it can be countered but more often than not it won’t matter because it’s not strong enough. Unless you get a perfect setup and your opponent has a rough start, it’s probably going to lose. It might work against bots and but it’s not good. And those other lock down combos are way stronger. The reason they had to nerf the other unfun combos was because they were unfun and often won! Zabu spider absman you locked off 2 lanes but also you could still play. With the exception of Jeff you’re done turn 5 and you hope floating wins it for you. But it’s probably not because all the power in your deck relays on cars that will most likely be destroyed by turn 5 or are just not strong enough. It’d be a different story if you could play and your opponent can’t but your both locked in. It’s not that strong. It will still feel annoying to lose to but it’s not strong enough that I see him getting a nerf for a long while unless a far worse combo is found. As is I do t see this car getting much play other than a 5-8. Or maybe as a clutter card if you play it on a squirrel location or something. And if you still are concerned this card is too toxic, then I implore you to play it! Lose all your cubes and rest assured it’s a mid card.

That 46 power then gets sent back left lane, being added to the 11 power and 28 power from the other two lanes for 85 power left lane. Mid lane also receives that 46 power which Iron Man then doubles to 92 power added to the 28 power in that lane already for 120 power.
Left Lane is 11+28+46=85
Mid Lane is (11+3+46)*2=120
Right Lane is 11+28+7=46
Math checks out - mostly because it avoids doubling an already doubled 14 points. That's trippy.
Thats for breaking it down. Game gets a little wonky with some locations being duplicated

Second Dinner really said "What if Zabu + Spider-Man but worse?"
I think the card would be a lot healthier if it did that, and fully expect that change to come soon.
It will be very frustrating at first and then become the regular announce of the goblins viper hood void and galactus. You always can retreat.
There are SO MANY counters to this play style ive been cleaning up
Funny how you mention legion keeping people from playing their powerful cards on 6.
I feel a simple change would be that storm locations are flooding next turn not flooded
baby gag reel = bonus engagement. I'm all for this. She's super cute. Grats again and a billion times over.
That Atlantis play is what I wanted out of Legion. What we got is this deck.
He's not more of a problem than storm juggernaut. But this deck’s horrendous. It definitely needs work. Every deck out scales it. Even with no turn 6 the enemy has more power than you can get.
More baby outtakes please! Brought a huge smile to my face.!
Didn’t even realise Legion was out and the first time I encountered him someone used this play on me.
So apparently dealing with Twitch chat for so many years has made Regis very good at handling babies while working… Incredible.
This video is so good! Prolly my favorite yet. The novelty of storm legion is so fun to watch right now. That might wear off tho lol
Every Marvel snap youtuber has played this deck so I'd say it would get boring to watch pretty fast
@@exdee__ that’s possible but today it is pure gold. I have yet to run into this list online yet too so that’s also a good sign
I've played 8 matches with this deck and not 1 time have I had Legion and Storm playable at the right times. I swear RNG hates me.
I wonder how crazy it would be if you put lockjaw and legion 😂
Feel guilty for the Absorbing Spider days… but typically hate easy win low setup combos like this
hope they dont nerf it dude , is the most fun combo
I had to drop an immediate like for the new co-host.
But seeing how stupid the game has become with H.E., Legion, Jean Grey, the fact that if you don't play specific cards you lose by default against Red Skull and Taskmaster, also how everyone plays the same exact deck after rank 100, I don't know if it's worth stressing about.
honestly if you found a jumping off point and you're happier, take it, but just follow where the fun is for you :D
Yes your play is saved through SNAP s servers and with ur user ID they can get all ur info back to u
Every snap creator/streamer is playing this but no one else has a baby
May be a problem? I think it's certainly going to be and they even said they're going to monitor it. There's no way it's not getting changed, this is just dumb.
One solution for this could be that the card changes not the 2 remaining positions, but only one (randomly).
Or.. that the card changes the 3 positions into 3 different ones...
If not, the game is going to die very soon.
Cosmo is gonna make a big comeback in the meta
The only time you see a turn 4 storm will be for this. So you know to cosmo that storm lane on turn 5
Also gotta keep priority to stop it, sigh.
This is gonna be a rough few weeks.
Came here to see how legion works with nexus and you didn’t disappoint, it looks broken tho.
This card leaked as a 5-7 did they not think negating 6 costs, Bounce and Sera was strong enough? I really don't want to see this become popular.
its funny enjoying the gameplay and rooting for fun for Regis and opponents, but also secretly wanting legion to lose so this doesnt become meta 😅😂
That Agatha twist ending
I was waiting on the store reset to claim the free credits. soon as this dude showed up I bought him IMMEDIATELY, even though I now have start saving all over again to buy mu pinned Kitty (I missed the free one).
and it seems everyone and their mother had the same Storm+Legion combo in mind
Great. More High Evo pass the turn fun. Just the type of meta people love. :)
Is this a second breathe for MBAKU?????
Baby toots are all fun until they discover solids and become baby bombs that defy gravity, straight up the diaper to the back of their neck while sitting down.
Spoilers: not a single opponent had Jeff. 😅
This is going to be so toxic when that location that stops you retreating is in the game
That's a thing?
Legion looks like old leader, leech (still broken btw), galactus, etc...
If it becomes common ill just stop playing for a few months like i did before and wait for changes.
This interaction getting released as is, does not give me faith in their new playtest team. Supposedly a shift after Zabu, and takes 4-6 months to show . Well now it’s been that long, and I’m certain this team would have released Zabu as is if not even stronger
How does a 3 power Iron man played in the middle location take the score from 51/40/29 to 85/120/46? That's some wierd old school double Onslaught stuff right there.
I'm really hoping someone takes the time to map this out for us.
Now, Snap is a well put together game, it has preventative measures to ensure that Iron man doesnt go infinite with this stuff, so its somewhat- safe to assume its only applied once, and then removed from future nexus calculations.
thus brings the question, how does one get 85/120/46 from 54/43/32?
short answer, ill do the math when im more awake.
but i hope the pre-iron man explanation helps someone maybe crack it
(edit 1: Just noticed for a brief moment, the locations power is set to 6 when iron mans effect activates, good god this going to get messy)
Edit 2: Actually, solving the middle getting to 120 is easier than I thought, left to right rule would mean that, maybe, the 6 power being added to left, brings it to 60 power, which then gets added and doubled with iron man, to be brought to 120?? the math from adding left and right together doesnt come close to 120 so, thats my best guess at that
@@KingOfAllGhouls So using your first set of calculations, it looks like each Nexus location has 3 values associated with it.
So with that in mind we now recalculate the 3 power sets and see what happens:
The new board power for the locations is 11/3/7, but with a doubling effect on the 3.
1. Start with base power 11, 3, 7
2. Working out each location left to right, the left has 11, so that gets added to the other locations (11, 14, 18)
3. Middle location has Iron Man so is doubled (11, 28, 18)
4. Middle location's power is distributed to left and right (39, 28, 46)
5. Right location's power is distributed to left and middle but is doubled in the middle, so 46 is added left and 92 is added middle (85, 120, 46)
Lol at the post credits scene. My boy is 4.5 and he’s still tooting on us!
Let me guess, he will be fixed/nerfed after tons of ppl buy him in 1-2 weeks
He’s problematic with Kyln too. Turn 4 legion on Kyln is TVA at home (where no one can play after turn 4)
Skillmonger and Scarlet Witch to counter? Good use of 5 mana.
Beat outro ever “just don’t toot”
ur co-host is so cute the last seconds in the vid killed me with cuteness
i mean, legion was bound to play with storm, there's no strategic use without it. thankfully, magick is currently in the meta, which will easily be a counter
A good counter to storm + legion could be :
T5 magic without priorite
T6 doom
T7 odim
Or having priority and Cosmo storm lane
@@markuman01 but what vs echo
@@nickleiverson305 yeah then you have to play Witch,Magik or Quake
@@markuman01 rio and rhino, DONE

Rocks? Oh, it was Agatha all along 🎶
I’m crushing with legion…. Not using this deck but the lock out component is definitely apart of it. The only deck it struggles with is high evolutionary but even still my deck has beaten it the tempo of HE.
Snap Dads! let's go! Just grabbed him I am cackling lol
Sending the game to shadow realm
The deck will probably never be a huge success on the ladder since it wins on turn 5. It's the same problem the Wong-White Tiger deck has, every win is a retreat from the opponent which is bad for cubes. Many of the more successful decks are the ones that turn the game around on turn 6 since it opens a lot of opportunity for surprise and snap wins.
Finally we see Regina! ❤
Well this explains why I am seeing so much storm...
Oh my God and everyone is gonna have him because they're chasing HE and Darkhawk
that baby is 2 minutes away from the deepest sleep
More Cohost videos with Regina please
I like the idea of copying limbo also so people cannot surprise end the game,
This will definetly get nerfed. Every card that has denied turn 6 being impactful (aero, leader) has gotten nerfed
looks scaring to play against but so fun to play as
I don't know if this is toxic.
There's pleeeeenty of cards to remove those location changes.
I love those outtakes 😂
I get turn 6 players that get frustrated with this, sera and bounce and surfer... But I have been bullied by those decks for the past few weeks especially bounce... so Im kinda okay with this to bully em back
Maybe he should be a 5/9. Adding another path of counterplay through Shang Chi?
He isn’t ongoing, he is on reveal so it doesn’t matter if he dies, game is still over.
@@zackeryh250 oh right mb
Legion gives me galactus vibes. I find it toxic yet stupid at the same time 😂
The mixed of Galactus,Spiderman but can be better with any good location
old galactus invalidate all your early game cards, and also make their knull more strong, legion its the oposite, he makes all early plays even more important
Watched TLSG's video on this deck, seems like it's going to turn people away from the game. I get you can play how you want but tedious high evo legion boring opponents in to submission isn't healthy imo. Plus I don't have nebula, Jeff, or high evo so I'm screwed either way
Nebula shouldn’t grow if you can’t play a card in the location like Jean
You need to play a deck with only baby variant cards.
Who ever at SD thought this was a good idea needs to reevaluate their priorities.
