I know right. Legends like Wino or Matt pike etc.. I like to believe they actually want it this way. They know this genre will never hit mainstream and they also know what mainstream succes can do to a person. They've seen it happen to a lot of their colleagues.. I think they're perfectly happy the way they are. Playing the music they love. But yes, those dudes deserve way more appreciation than any of these pop/rock bands that are making millions by playing generic shit. These guys are legend, they created a whole genre doing stuff that's hasn't ever been done. They deserve so much more, but they also know the community and their fans do appreciate their work. To me, they live the perfect rockstar life. They are loved and adored by every fan of this awesome genre but still stay away from mainstream succes, which is more a curse than a gift. And they never changed, always stayed so humble, it's amazing really

You know what’s crazy ? The veterans affairs is now using psilocybin to treat soldiers with PTSD we have come full circle in America and I believe the peace movement had it right

I was doing morphine/oxycontine like it was going out of style & i don't mean just 1 or 2 a day were talking no word of a lie like 20-25 pills a day of 60mg morphine or oxycontin. I don't even know how i'm alive. & then getting hit by a train in 2006 in my car to boot & nearly having my left shoulder ripped off. So when Wino says he's blessed i know what he means.
Man respectfully,shrooms messed me up. Jesus is the only way. The problem with psychedelics is that they open you up to demons and such. Hence bad trips. Once I had a terrible weed experience as well where I couldn’t stop hearing voices and I said “Jesus if you’re real please take these thoughts away” and it He took them away. God bless you man I’m not trying to force my religion on you, but just telling you if you have a relationship with Jesus it will save you. Life won’t be easier on earth per se, but you will have a peace you’ve never felt and the security of eternal life

Underrated by the mainstream but my hope is that with Doom musicians respect what Wino and Matt among many other great musicians have paved and influenced the modern era of Doom Metal. Scott seems to get close to success and something always screws it up, dude is battling some serious personal demons but I hope he wins.
