    haha I feel sorry that I didn't take the time to watch the videos on the forum back then. I pretty much went off on my own exploring it that summer, had some great fun with it, trying increasingly longer exposures. my favorite time to take shots like this is in the evening light, letting it sit until the sun passes the horizon. I put one of the prints in my wallet so I would see it every time I opened it and it held on pretty long. I still have it and I can still se part of the picture, it's mostly blue and purple now so at its end of life/getting full with light.

    I bought a $150 Speed Graphic last year and rebuilt it the best I could and have been having fun with it, but not as of lately. Its like -6 out and I really don’t want to take it out in the winter, so its been fun watching your videos. I have been using an Epson V500 and I made a scan mask for it that works with 2 scanned images and the Mac program “Hugin”. Works ok for now. I stopped using paper over $$$ for now. Thanks for your videos

    Hey Joe, I sure have enjoyed learning from you, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I was wondering if you have any experience with paper negatives and if so if you would be willing to cover the basics of them from capturing the photo through to contact printing and enlargements?

      Here's a playlist of my photography-related videos. I do cover a bit about paper negatives, but need to make one about the complete process. Thank you for watching!

    You don't need to keep them in the black bag. just fix the paper neg.

    You think this would work with your ra4 process? How does that kind of paper react to this process?

      You can do reversal prints with black & white photo paper, there are several different processes. I've never done it with RA4 color chemistry however.

    Hey Joe! Thanks so much for the video! I'm looking to try this process with my own speed graphic. I'm wondering if you exposed the paper to the sun before wetting it and then putting it into the camera, and if so for how long? Thanks!

      I haven't tried "pre-flashing" in the sun beforehand. If you get around to trying it before I do, please share with me your results.

    are we calling paper negs lumen prints now?

    • @Joe_VanCleave
      @Joe_VanCleave  4 года назад +2

      I'm calling lumen prints paper that's exposed in a camera, that produces a negative image strictly through the auto-development process, and not through chemical development.
