AC controls still work they just dont show? I'm looking for a head unit as well. But I don't really care if you can see the temperatures as long as they work

Just check all the wiring diagram and see you need any adapters. And check the measure so it fits. I can't say it will work but it should work but just tripel check everything thats what my friend did

Well, the installation procedure was butchery style, to a degree. More importantly, apart from entertainment, have you retained all the car function controls including access to the car settings menu?

Does the Heat/AC temperature, zone, fan speed still show up on the unit when you adjust the AC or did you lose that?
No it doesn’t show but. But you can still use the old screen but you have to modify a new space for it. We haven’t found a solution yet for it

You have two options. 1 you live without the ac screen and free base it. 2 you keep the old screen but you have to modify a new place to mount it on

the kit is universal. You can have the original screen plug in but you need to find a new location for it

No but you can still have the old screen we haven’t just figured out where to put it

how did you manage to keep the stereo in place without it falling inside the dash?
Dont cut out to much of the frame and the new frame that comes with the new stereo works like extra support

The thing is you can't you need to use the old screen somewhere else. But we havn't
figured out where to put the old one.
