Probably the most underrated bush song that deserved more credit. This ballad is solid and for some reason just represents the 90s for me.
One of the most under rated songs period. This and Iris from the Goo Goo Dolls have always held a special place for me. And I grew up on The Clash, Siousxie, Black Flag and Dead Kennedys.
Bomb I think is off 16 stone or like 250 lbs in America ?
This is so BADASS. I used to work at a pizza place back in the day and I used to date one of the waitresses and when we would close for the night we would play the jukebox in the dining room and just hang out in one of the booths and talk way into the night. I would ALWAYS put this song as one of my selections. Love it. And love the video. Thanks.

Always makes me think of a girl from my past. The love is there, or was, or maybe will be. I dunno. Life is weird, man. This song makes me think of a beautiful dream you try to make yourself fall back asleep to catch, but you know you can’t. Even though the moment is gone, the dream is still a beautiful one.

His description of making love to her is one of the most poetic things i have heard in modern music. He uses the "alien" imagery to express how he feels they are the same, and don't belong anywhere but with each other. This is how you make music ladies and gentlemen.

beautiful video! my son is getting married in august and i want this song played for him and his wife to dance to. 20 some years ago i was watching tv and a new band called Bush had a video called "Everything Zen." My son was 10ish at the time and i grabbed him and had him watch it with me. we both have been avid Bush fans since! This is my first favorite love song next to Pearl Jam "Black."
I listened to Black right before I put this on.
Me & my son's story is similiar to yours. When we heard 10 we knew there was no his music and my music. It was our music. For the rest of his life we went to concerts together. Best times of my life. Sadly he passed at 34. But i still have our music.

There's this girl I like. Ive known her my whole life, and Im 25 now. Shes always been the greatest friend anybody can ask for, and recently I began to have feelings for her. Shes the only person who knows everything about me, shes the only person who has been there when I needed a shoulder to lean on. I can literally tell her anything, everything, and I know I can count on her. As awesome as that is, it pains me to know Ill never truly be able to call her mine. She has dated this one guy, who sometimes doesnt even treat her right, for like 10 years, and now theyre engaged. Im happy for her, and him, and all I can do now is just be as good of a friend to her as shes been to me. I wish I could call her mine, and this song reminds me that maybe im just an alien to her. One day, someday, Ill find a girl half as great as her. Hopefully soon. Hopefully it could be her one day.
Sometimes they break your heart, but it's always the next one that changes everything. At 25, you still have two thirds of your life left (roughly) and in another ten years it will all be so different. I had one break mine, has three of our kids.. It will get much more complicated later on. Just remember that as bad as life is right now, it will probably get worse. And then we die. Sorry that I'm not very uplifting, just trying to be realistic. Life has its ups and downs, but it seems to have a lot more downs than ups. Me, I've just accepted that all I can do is blaze, flip the bird and say ftw. Nothing we do really matters anyway, right? Okay, enough of this pep talk, cheer up guy.

You did a really nice job with that video, i like it, when i was 14 i discovered this song at the end of sixteen stone and used to get stoned and fantasize about the one i never got, bittersweet feeling but aging you made this visually pleasing.
Im probably insane cause when I listened to this song I felt it was a love story about two satellites circling this crazy planet and they only only cross paths at a certain time and only for a few moments... and that was all they could have. Yeah I’m insane
