Wow that so close with the original,even the sclup are pretty similar.
Well honestly i don't minded to getting the bootleg version, seen price for the DX version how expensive are there even some price almost closed with hot toys price now days but with QC issues like Tifa Lockhart headslup
Man I wish there's a restock of the bootleg. I recently got an original Play Arts Kai 2B model but the figure came with defects. Tried reaching out to Square but the customer service is awful. Now, I'm stuck with a defective figure that costs 12k. The experience overall made me rethink of buying sealed and original figures, since I realized that getting a "good" figure is a gamble. Might as well buy pre-owned, used, or even bootlegs, cuz at the end, at least you'll know what you'll be getting.
That sucks, man. Kinda wished that they also did 9S to as the one I got had a defective pod too, but from what I heard -- the production of this bootleg has stopped. sold mine a few months back & only kept pod for A2
When it comes to SQEX products, I usually wait for pre-owned figures unless its a figure I really want. Their QC issues are still shit
Weird I must have got a different customer service rep I had received my Play Arts Kai Tifa but had a defect so they sent me out a new one and told me not to bother sending the other one back
The quality of these figures is atrocious. I got a A2 and she had multiple QC issues. The vendor I got her from was kind enough to give me a free replacement after I showed them all the problems with the figure. They didn't even want it back. The second one that arrived was even worse. To be clear these are originals. Even the box started to fall apart after a few months.
This is why the third-party figures have a good articulation

9S at 2B play art kai deluxe sa market over $200 na, meron reissue by flare electronic isa lang yung sword.
la verdad estan practicamente iguales, pero con una diferencia de 10 veces el precio, me quedo con la Bootleg
It's insane how it's so close to the original.
While I do get that most shouldn't support bootlegs, Square Enix has been milking their Play Arts Kai, if not Nier merch or the whole franchise in general. It's already up to the point that PAKs are so overpriced now compared to the price we were getting back then during Metal Gear Solid V line era.
While I don't know how shady bootleg makers are and how they slip in to the market, but if it's as this good as any other bootlegs, I wouldn't mind owning one for my own personal use. Same reason to yours, for its price I kinda want one solely for using the Pods and swords for my original standard 2B.
Heck, I might even think that Yoko Taro would support the bootleg makers more than Square Enix 😂 But I still support the artists behind the merch line.
yeah, the quality of new bootleg PAKs are far more superior than older ones that were made. The FFVII remake BL figs were good (accdg. to my friends who actually got one), and the quality overall on this figure is kinda "on-par" with the official one.
I agree that PAKs are stupidly expensive nowadays and their QC issue is still all over the place, even the authentic ones are not safe lol but alas; these are the only licensed action figures we have
I would recommend this figure to you, as you have the standard one ... & ofc - A2 needs her own Pod-042!
