    Namaste!
As my father was dying of cancer, this was one of his favorite meals and the last real meal his body could handle. I have such painfully beautiful memories of spooning out each mouth full, one for him one for me.....and it was such a blessing that in such pain he could enjoy good food and share it with me as a memory I will treasure as long as I live.
Thank you for reminding me of it and teaching me how to make it myself....I will make it to honor his memory and your skill.

I googled mattar paneer as I had a pretty good idea how to make it, but wasn't sure. I used onions, garlic & ginger instead of hing, and garam masala instead of separate spices, with cumin, haldi, laal mirch, and it turned out beautifully. And OMFG, the secret is the pinch of sugar! Thank you Manjula 😁
