@Korea Travel Notes@ 1. Korea is a homogeneous nation Korea has only recently become famous abroad and is attracting more and more tourists. Most Koreans are awkward with foreigners! - Korea is a Confucian culture. From an early age, we constantly learn to be considerate, humble, and respectful. That's why most Koreans don't discriminate!! (No country in the world is free from racism. Exceptions always exist) In fact, Korea is the safest country for travelers and you will feel it when you come to Korea. 2. Koreans are perfectionists. For a Korean to speak a foreign language, it is necessary to be able to converse at the level of a local! Most of the young people can speak English basicly! - The reason foreigners feel unkind to Koreans is that Koreans 'can't help you perfectly in your language' (Of course, this is gradually improving 😀) 3. Most foreigners I see speak 100% native language in Korea. In Korea, when traveling abroad, I think it's polite to learn a little bit of the language of that country. But all the foreigners I have seen in Korea come to me in English or their mother tongue. Everyone, please respect Korean! If you come to Korea by studying at least a minimum of Korean, it will be a really enjoyable trip! "sillyehnida" (Excuse me) If you approach Koreans in Korean, Koreans will help you like family, even if it's the first time they've met you!! I hope you all feel the beautiful "jeong" culture! Nice video! I'll go to Korea in September and I have one question. I have a flight with connection in SFO (USA) with 13 hours of waiting there with the same airline. Do you know if I have to do my PCR again for the second flight (SFO-Seoul) or if I present it on my first flight is it valid until I reach Korea? (Mx- SFO)
Hmm I’m not sure! I know it’s within 48 hours of your departure time but not sure if that the initial flight or the actual one to Korea. I hope the first one but maybe ask your airline! And keep in mind you need a test within 24 hours (antigen is fine, and I think it’s also fine for Korea now too) to transit in the USA.
Oh wow, they have English speaking helpers on the street, no one has mentioned this in other vlogs. That's put me at ease because I am travelling solo and I was getting pretty anxious! So much info already. Thank you!
