feels like criterion was effectively done after making only one remotely likeable game (paradise) and adding some admittedly cool stuff to it with the packs they released for it (favourites were cops&robbers and the island). every other burnout game ranged from mildly existant to utterly horrendous, with 3 being the worst of the lot by a massive margin.
Imagine you're on the highway driving back from exhausting work, and suddenly a red hacthback flying and slammed to your car. When you get consious, now you're trapped in the flamey chaos
Nice ! If you keep impact mode before it asks for the Crashbreaker, it actually slows down the Boost gauge for Crashbreaker (so you can do the qte more easily :) )
Imagine taking the crash mode from this game and adding it to burnout paradise. And then remastering that game? Or just make a new open world game. It already sounds amazing just so much potential here.
Oh boy... Car Wars has to be one of the most if not the most annoying one of all of those, I only beat it once and it was with only just over 8M$... good job on getting 12M$ honestly. I also wish Lone Peak had more crash levels, and even if I wouldn't know where another crash could happen, but the scenery is just so cool and feels not as experimented with as it could be!
I couldn't stand crash mode in this game. There were times where I gotten many explosions and crashes. But mostly it was me stalling or the wind carrying me. Also the traffic would just drive by. Takedown was a lot better
Yeah you're in the minority there. Everyone loves burnout for the crash mode. Spilt screen crash mode with my buddy's on the donut map would never get old
@@rickshiandmoku4128 I loved crash mode in burnout 3. Revenge was kinda boring. Cars would just drive and tap the one in front. I loved the craziness in burnout 3. Didn't have to deal with wind and bullcrap. Most of the maps were weird in revenge
b3 crash mode was probably the best thing about that game, but that doesn't say much when the rest of the game was utterly terrible, and that's putting it mildly.
Oh god now I remember that stupid chanting good game but this crash mode I feel like takedowns was better the difficulty curve in this one was a leap to say the least
When I bought this game I thought it will be the same as the Xbox Classic version but I was immediately greeted with songs playing in the loading screen and it gave out an incredibly low effort feel. The chanting is super lame as well
I remember my friend and I smoking weed and filling our bellies with diet soda while playing this on the PS2.
I really miss this game. It's a huge shame that the Burnout series died.

The only negative thing of this game is this exaggerated blur, Burnout Revenge became one of my favorites racing games after get 100% on him in 2023
