As a genuine Yooper that grew up 50 yards from the now removed Soo Line Rails, I LOVE this video. I stumbled across the NMRRC website a few years ago and have been very fortunate to add several of their rolling stock to my fleet. Copper Range, E&LS, Detroit & Mackinac, Etc. My layout is Lionel controlled, so any MTH Locomotives (unless it's a dummy unit) won't be part of my fleet, unfortunately. Outstanding video.
Very cool update & RR History - As a kid we always vacationed at Cedarville, Les Cheneaux Islands and my son graduated from Michigan Tech at Houghton & married a Yooper. He has a place in Yooper Land. Take care and well done video 😎
Hi Charlie, man, you have been busy. All of those special runs took some real work behind the scenes, and they turned out great. I'm very impressed with what you have gotten accomplished, and the layout looks impressive as well. I especially like the ALCO RS-1and that special run caboose. Very sharp looking indeed! Quick question, what was meant by having an engine's smoke unit re-flashed? I've just not heard the term used before with a model locomotive. Bill B.
