There is actually difference between Gullika and Mandi. Gullika is the name given to yama(one of the eight division of the daytime, the time period belonging to Saturn). Thus Gullika kala is one thing. Mandi actually rises in the middle of Gullika kala.
Although Gulika and Mandi both are said to be son of Saturn, they are sometimes used synonymously by astrologers. I don't know whether that is right or not. But in the Chart Gullika and Mandi are at different points.
