Considering it’s now possible to completely re-create the Sonic’s 06 moveset, I wonderful ever see mods re-creating Shadow’s chaos abilities or Silver‘s psychokinesis?
Theres actually a Silver mod with realistic Silver movesets
anything is possible, the issue is just how long someone is willing to spend actually doing it, cases like this and the mario 64 mod are very rare
They could but it'd be a hassle because it can't be implemented all at once in the game. You'd have to choose one mod then stick with it per gameplay.
I love how detailed the hub world is! 10/10 in that department!

There’s so much about this that I never knew was possible, from custom abilities to new NPC’s, this project is truly insane. Keep in mind, this project initially came to be as a way to fix 06, and even when ChaosX made his version, that didn’t stop Brianuu and his team from working hard on this.
It's cool, I never knew there was another project aside from Project 06, but I found one here and it's a Generations mod rather than a complete remake. Really cool.
Man this is proof that Sega should continue to hire and enlist Fan talent for their projects. If fans can make Sonic 06 look and feel this good, the possibilities are endless to make the greatest Sonic experiences in future titles.
If this is possible, I’d like to see people recreate the Werehog in Gens, it’d be a dream come true for Werehog lovers like me! Plus they could use the opportunity to fix some things or add quality of life adjustments/updates, then once that’s done they merge it with the Unleashed Project The Complete Addon, recreate the world map and hub worlds, and then the true Unleashed Project would be realized. Of course that’s probably never gonna happen
I mean Sonic Generations is built on top of Sonic Unleashed so it could be possible

@@MistyLose not necessarily built ontop of unleashed , but they modified unleashed’s engine and made it do what they want. basically kept the engine but changed the car it was in
Sonic 06 model is actually my favorite sonic model btw, i really like the edgy approach they took with it, and the edgyier shadow looks super good... The new forces versions of the models look too artificial, goofy and plastic

Wow.. the hub looks absolutely gorgeous! The dynamic lighting and upresed models really help bring Soleanna to life. The fact they went above and beyond to recreate the small town missions as well is really commendable.
Impressive work all around 👏🏽
This really went from map replacing to literally turning Generations into another game
I miss the signature spike physics but I like this project!
This looks so good that you can take screenshots at certain parts and some would probably not even be able to tell it isn't 06.
Heck the Blaze gameplay almost looks exactly like 06 a lot of the time it's insane.

It's been so long. This really takes me back. I still love this game regardless. Although it is nice to see improvements with Sonic's moveset and abilities. Seems less restrictive. Also, these were the best badnik designs imo, they looked like truly threatening robots.
the way it seamlessly transitions from normal gameplay to mach-speed is amazing
my goodness having the characters chill in the hub worlds depending on where you are in the story really brings me back to the adventure days. I may not have realized it when playing 06 back in the day but I knew it was missing that charming detail.
Wow, they've done a really good job on this game, it looks late PS3 to early PS4 graphic quality. And gameplay looks so much better then the original in every way.

Petition for them to put the Sonic Unleashed models and design Elise in the style of the people in Shadow The Hedgehog. This would be perfect!
To me, Elise should be a hedgehog or any anthropomorphic animal as well as changing Eggman back to his more well known current design

The sonic 06 move set, spindash, grinding mechanics, momentum, and we get to keep boost? That’s what we need in a sonic game.
A mod in Generations letting you practically play Sonic 06. This is beyond expectations ! No need to wonder why it has good replayability value.

One thing I really like about this is that it gives the levels some actual flow, instead of making Sonic stay in the air for forty million years whenever he bounces off of springs or jumps off of walls or even just does a regular jump...
I really like Sonic initial running speed in the Soleana hub, as it's perfect for maneuverability in platforming. Coupled with boost you really feel like Sonic in an open world so I hope Frontiers is like this.
Every waking detail in this makes it far from making me believe this is even Sonic Generations, which has the running speed, spin dash, animations, etc. Only thing that detracts from being 06 is the boost in the mach speed sections, you can’t do that in Vanilla Sonic 06.
God damn I can't wait to play this the hud is sick as well and noe we have blaze which is even much more sick if there is a way to bring back werheog gameplay then that would be sick
i have this installed without the Sonic 06 model/movement, and all i’ll say is.. speedrunning these stages as Gens Sonic is addicting as hell.

IDK if it's just me, but I miss longer quills sonic. It just matches the free, adventurous spirit that is Sonic. (Also 06's music tho)

Bringing 06 to Generations.
I wouldn't be surprised at this point if Brianuuu does Colors' other Wisps. He already did the Air Boost, Air Dash, Homing Attack (that uses the jump ball), and alternating startup animations for saguinee's Colors Sonic, because he "refuses to play Sonic Colors Ultimate". Lol.

I actually like the length of the Crisis City stage. The stage is better with no load times. Yeah I bet mods fixed that problem a long time ago. I don’t keep up Sonic fan projects.
Dang this Sonic has the abilities of SA1, SA2, Heroes, and beyond. 😳 I'm still waiting for someone find some clever way to bring back Sonic's insta-shield move from Sonic 3.

@@kuno0009 they're not going to, simply to stay true. The objective of this mod is to basically port as much from 06 to Generations as possible, and staying as true as possible to the original game.

They should do to this game what Vicarious visions did with thps 1+2. They should make 06 Sonic with a engine from a more recent Sonic game. You can tell it was and is unfinished. I respect the goal Sonic team was going for but it just never materialized for them. This looks good though. Sonic team should hire the guys that worked on this.

How to you get this thing running? I have a laptop with an icore 7 and gens runs smooth there but which GMI or hedgehog manager does this support? Since it crashes for me upon loading. I think it’s something to do with the movie files but idk what to do with them, any one help?
Do you have Direct 9x, BetterFx Pipeline and Score Generations mods? (And it relies on Hedgehog Mod Manager version 7.81)

Brianuu did play Sonic 06 before releasing. The developer that did not was ChaosX, a completely different developer for a different project.
