- As a seller on the platform, as time goes on and you see the things that eBay does (or does not do) when it comes to the various changes they make, it makes you wonder if they even care how some of these changes impact sellers. Many sellers will say they do not feel valued, eBay fails to communicate these changes time and time again. Do they look at sellers as a dime a dozen and for this reason they just do not care what we think?
I have always thought that in life and in business, communication is a huge driving factor for success. Why eBay does not go beyond their monthly chat sessions (ended this month), their monthly seller check ins is beyond me. What eBay does has a huge impact on thousands of business big and small and you would think that based on the sheer amount of money they make from sellers, they could do better communicating with us.

I tried the off site ads for a month. The first week was great but the rest of the month was underwhelming. I hope E-bay gets it together and makes it work eventually.
Gotta have balance so never feel guilty for enjoying some time off.
eBay doesn’t value good honest sellers. Myself and 5 other sellers have unraveled a scammer out of Miami running the same scam on all of us. That’s just the sellers we’ve spoke with so far. Valuable board games seems to be the go to for the scammer. With all of the evidence of fraud laid out, hopefully eBay will take action and remove the POS.
I highly doubt it. They dont seem to care.
Something to keep in mind... buyers can come and go for many items. Unless it's something very specific or collectible. So, if they get butthurt over something, they may disappear. With sellers - particularly those who are doing this as a business or means of income - they aren't as likely to leave even if their experiences are less than great.
This is probably part of Ebay's calculus in how they deal with things. It's not fair, but what really ever is, right?
It would still be nice if they would keep us more in the loop and not ding us or make things needlessly difficult just because they feel they have us at a disadvantage. Particularly because there are more options out there than ever before.
Amazon has data servers all across the USA so it would make sense that eBay has multiple also. And they do go down and they have to migrate to another one until it comes back online.

eBay has been getting worse and worse every single year. Yet selling on the site is becoming expensive with fee's. No wonder people are leaving. Its not worth it...

Hi Can anyone answer this question..When posting your title in the description area… do you suggest bold type or the regular 14 pt Ariel suggestion. Does it make a difference? Thanks for your time.
Use Capital letters on each word only on the first letter. All capital letters to many buyers means shouting. Do not use any punctuation
I always use the Bold in description, I think it looks better and easier to read.
In the description I use the default font, in bold sized at 18 as compared to size 14 font for the rest of the item description.
How do you call ebay?
It's a mystery now. Lol
Unless u have concierge service.
Go to help and contact. Go onto chat with the chat bot and after starting your issue type in “have someone call me”. That worked the last time we called.
