Idea for an animation in the song: you are a crewmate and you Basicly start over again, making new friends, helping others, when there is pretty much the same situation in “why?” Where there is a dead body but you don’t know who killed. Every time you report, people asks if you have any evidence or susses but all you can say is “I don’t know”, so towards the end of the song, people think your sus and you see them running to the emergency meeting button. You run after them to try and stop them, but just as they are going to hit the button, the imposter come out of the vent and kill him. You report the body and say who the imposter is, but no one believes you. As you try to convince the remaining crewmates, the imposter kills them one by one until it’s just you and the imposter. Just like this song how you make the map glitch to show memories, you can use this same technique to make it like like you have flashback of the song “ why”, it’s the part where you wrestle the gun away from blue and kill him. You do the same but this time it fails and you are cornered against a wall and the imposter has his gun posted at you. Just as he was about to shoot, one crewmate who was hiding the whole time, meaning the imposter didn’t find and kill him, that crewmate steps in and sees the imposter pointing the gun. The crewmate reports and you vote the imposter out. Another victory!

where do i even start? the animation is wonderful, your vocals are incredible, the lyrics describe such a moving sense of change, the storyline is wonderfully bittersweet, the "best friends" and "new dawn" references were so smart, and oh my god that "why" callback was executed so perfectly- combined with the visuals calling back to teal, using the original framework of the original lyrics but then altering the text, exemplifying in itself the inability to wipe away the past yet still the want to change that the character has been experiencing for the entire song. using the shapeshifter role was brilliant, too- he's not only seeing the impostor kill under his identity, he's being directly confronted with the sins of his past... just, wow. honestly, i could probably keep going on about the lyricism and visuals here, but i might be here for way too long lmao just- absolutely amazing work all around 🔥

Here’s what I think the story is. Everything started normally but everyone immediately thought it was White due to all the times he’s been imposter. He wanted to convince everyone it wasn’t him, and then the imposter shapeshifter into him. Pink witnessed this and she reported and voted White. But everyone skipped. White desperately wants to tell Pink that he’s not the imposter, so he follows her everywhere. Pink kept a close eye on White. She saw him kill Yellow not knowing that it was a shapeshifter. Pink calls a meeting and votes him again. Orange votes him too, but Brown and Blue skip the vote, which makes it a tie. Pink stalks the shapeshifter, and watches Cyan die. Then the original White walks in looking pretty sad. He sees the shapeshifter about to kill Pink, and he saves her. Pink runs to the emergency button, while the shapeshifter unshifts and reveals himself to be Orange. Pink calls a meeting tells Brown and Blue that it’s orange. They vote him out and the crew mates win. Pink sends a message to White saying that she’s sorry. That’s it. I love the ending, very cute.

It's so great to see how much this character has grown over time, and it's interesting to see that brown and blue don't want to be close to him, at the same time that they want to give him a second chance. Idea for an animation in the song: you are a crewmate and you Basicly start over again, making new friends, helping others, when there is pretty much the same situation in “why?” Where there is a dead body but you don’t know who killed. Every time you report, people asks if you have any evidence or susses but all you can say is “I don’t know”, so towards the end of the song, people think your sus and you see them running to the emergency meeting button. You run after them to try and stop them, but just as they are going to hit the button, the imposter come out of the vent and kill him. You report the body and say who the imposter is, but no one believes you. As you try to convince the remaining crewmates, the imposter kills them one by one until it’s just you and the imposter. Just like this song how you make the map glitch to show memories, you can use this same technique to make it like like you have flashback of the song “ why”, it’s the part where you wrestle the gun away from blue and kill him. You do the same but this time it fails and you are cornered against a wall and the imposter has his gun posted at you. Just as he was about to shoot, one crewmate who was hiding the whole time, meaning the imposter didn’t find and kill him, that crewmate steps in and sees the imposter pointing the gun. The crewmate reports and you vote the imposter out. Another victory!

So we all know there is the obvious reference to Why after the second drop, but has anyone else noticed that, if you overlay the background music from the drop of Why onto the drop of this song, it matches perfectly? Idk if this was planned or not, but either way, truly brilliant

How are these animations so good!?!? For as long as I can remember i have been looking at the animations this one is so good
where do i even start? the animation is wonderful, your vocals are incredible, the lyrics describe such a moving sense of change, the storyline is wonderfully bittersweet, the "best friends" and "new dawn" references were so smart, and oh my god that "why" callback was executed so perfectly- combined with the visuals calling back to teal, using the original framework of the original lyrics but then altering the text, exemplifying in itself the inability to wipe away the past yet still the want to change that the character has been experiencing for the entire song. using the shapeshifter role was brilliant, too- he's not only seeing the impostor kill under his identity, he's being directly confronted with the sins of his past... just, wow. honestly, i could probably keep going on about the lyricism and visuals here, but i might be here for way too long lmao

Here’s what I think the story is. Everything started normally but everyone immediately thought it was White due to all the times he’s been imposter. He wanted to convince everyone it wasn’t him, and then the imposter shapeshifter into him. Pink witnessed this and she reported and voted White. But everyone skipped. White desperately wants to tell Pink that he’s not the imposter, so he follows her everywhere. Pink kept a close eye on White. She saw him kill Yellow not knowing that it was a shapeshifter. Pink calls a meeting and votes him again. Orange votes him too, but Brown and Blue skip the vote, which makes it a tie. Pink stalks the shapeshifter, and watches Cyan die. Then the original White walks in looking pretty sad. He sees the shapeshifter about to kill Pink, and he saves her. Pink runs to the emergency button, while the shapeshifter unshifts and reveals himself to be Orange. Pink calls a meeting tells Brown and Blue that it’s orange. They vote him out and the crew mates win. Pink sends a message to White saying that she’s sorry.
That’s it. I love the ending, very cute.
