The worst is when the management telling you to return to the office aren’t in the office themselves or you return to the office to still do everything through teams, slack or zoom.
@@mic-drop-74 As if it would go unnoticed if people just decided not to work lol. This whole idea of people that work from home are just hanging out and not working is so stupid.
There's no point of the middle management job if the employees can't be seen or controlled. If folks work at home exceptionally well, it says, "Managers aren't needed!"
Hi Leslie! you have made so many excellent points about the work to office demands! Where I live in Columbus, Ohio is a huge base for JP Morgan Chase with thousands of workers. They are very, very angry about having to go back into the office now after yrs of working from home. I don’t believe it’s about productivity because with all the monitoring they do and people not having a commute they are often more productive working from home. This even shows up in stats which showed higher productivity During the pandemic. So yes, it’s about the people at the top with the power to force people back into the office.
I’ve worked from home for almost 18 years. My company saw how much they saved not having to maintain a giant building. All the work gets done and they don’t care how long it took. I read the company policies and it literally says as long as you do 6 hours per day they consider it a full work day.
Anything the corporations do is all about money 💰 they don't care about anything else but that,I to went remote after the pandemic and do not plan to go back to an office where i was often time bullied. Made fun off, and taken advantage of. I see nothing wrong with remote work it's been live saving for me personally
JP Morgan is heavily invested in these office buildings through REITS so if the office real estate market collapses they will be screwed. Naive to think that's not a driving force behind decisions like this.
I worked from home full time as a coder for a major insurance company, it was absolutely miserable. The productivity tracking was so toxic. They tested us on our abilities every 2 weeks. I had migraines and vertigo for the first time ever with them. I've worked a hybrid schedule for a much smaller health facility and it's a much better arrangement. I like being in the office 2 or 3 days and vice versa.
Hybrid is best. I don’t want to have my job in my home 5 days a week even if it’s on a computer screen. I don’t want to see those peoples face in my home or hear their voice either. I wfh for two years it was nice and now I’m in the office full time and when I leave for the day I leave that job, those people, their faces, and their mess right there at the job.
As usual, RTO always points to systemic incompetence in leadership. Middle managers trying to justify their positions. We need less MBAs, and more engineers and scientists.
Leslie, I agree with you and your friend. The department heads, managers etc.they have got to see the employees working. (out there in that field) Which is the office pool. They have to be able to have physical eyes on physical bodies.
If they want me to work in the office, I will take my happy butt back to the office. In return, I will never again have to monitor my work computer at home. Hallelujah! And you are completely right!!! Those awful folks making those decisions don't have a clue about what we are doing. Btw, I wake up early and make my lunch. They only get my money when I am buying a tool or product that helps me save even more money.
Leslie, don’t know if you have discussed in previous videos - but many companies have “keystroke counting” software - so they can see if you meet their arbitrary quota for how many keystrokes they deem acceptable while working remote. Wild.
I had a horrible manager tell me exactly that. “I can’t see you at home”… Ans would time me on tasks that she didn’t know how to do… 😢It was a horrible experience
Happy Sunday listen all that you say in this video is the truth. In COVID-19 many people had to work from home. And a lot of people in my country have decided to work from home permanently. And the company they work for accept this decision from their workers. My experience is that my daughter worked from home and she had my grandson at home with her. And she got her job done but for her the company called all works back into the office. Another issue you should speak about Leslie is giving. Workers who deserve a PROMOTION!! And stop skipping over hard working people who can do their jobs and give it to those who don’t know how to do the job and end up asking those who have not got bigger salary how to do the job! So not fair!😠
@ the time here is 5:23 am I made my morning coffee I read my Bible and pray to God. Leslie I have Six grandchildren. Two use to live with me. They moved out. The other four grandkids their mom is keeping up malice with me for no reason. She don’t like my fiancé. I did raise a racist. I have tried with my own people and it did not work. I filed for Divorce he was a police officer. It was amicable. And I go on with my life. Praying to God from my bedroom. Chronic pains are bad Leslie as you seen the horrible shooting of that CEO. My life changed and I could not blame anyone. His life changed and he did the unthinkable act. It’s still very cold here. Girl I have to tell you AMAZON is my LIFE SAVER! It’s helped me tremendously. Sorry to text so much I know you’re busy. Have a lovely day I wait for your videos you’re doing a great job girl! 👏🏾❤️
micro managers are incompetent and unsure of themselves they constantly need updates about things that are out of there control. Work life balance means more production with less overhead, if companies are smart they would learn that fact. We are moving towards AI having a physical presence is not necessary to confirm if work is getting done.

There's nothing like doing laundry or cooking while you are working at home.
Right!!! Lunch break isn’t an lunch break at home lol
So that means you are not working. This is exactly why RTO

@mic-drop-74 I work for myself at home! I can do what I want lol… multitasking is a must for me. 🤣😂😆

That's why a ton of those tattle tellers are get the being let go from these big corporations. 😂😂😂
Exactly!!! And they aren’t…. Total waste of money

Agree!! They always want to control people

Yep but there will no longer be hybrid as well.
It’s about making money in the surrounding businesses. I’m blessed it’s 3 days in the office; I’m not complaining.

Good morning 🌞
Girl , i know you are being serious but you are cracking me up !😂😂😂 next venture for you -comedy
lol 🤣 never thought about comedy
I miss work from home. We were all brought back over a year ago. Now there are more personnel issues, more stress, I can’t wait to retire in 4 years.
I hear you!!!

Hey Sis! Loving the content! 🫶✨🙏👏🙌🌹❤️
Thanks sis!

Wow!!! They want to control everything….
Who is Luigi? Great topic!
He’s the man!!!
As long as the work gets done but then again it never is about the work in most cases.
Exactly!
Yeah cause of Trump. He said workers need to get back to the office, now everyone going back to work.
No. It's not because of Trump. Please don't start blaming everything on him.
I had a horrible manager tell me exactly that. “I can’t see you at home”… Ans would time me on tasks that she didn’t know how to do… 😢It was a horrible experience
Same. I had a wfh job I loved but the micromanaging supervisor made it a bad experience. That’s why I’m working on my own thing now.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Heyyyyyy Ms.leslie
