Saw your video and bought GT2. Realme phones after 1 year suddenly start making more sense. BTW PixelOS already there for GT2, perks of buying 1 year old phone, tried and tested reviews, u know what u are getting into, no suprises, cost reduced by a lot, custom rom development if any will have reached a good state.
Need more such phones, VFM year old phones. coz newest isnt always the greatest.

GT 2, it gives till Android 15 update. Plus Snapdragon is more stable than Mediatek. But heavy gaming on GT 2 is no no.

GT 2/ pro both are not well suited for gaming. Otherwise it is good. The problem with Mediatek processors is the lack of Gcam support and it matters alot.

Its unfortunate that mediatek does not support custom roms, better go with phone that has snapdragon so that you can keep your phone up to date with custom roms.
I've bought OnePlus 10R, which packs 3 major android updates and 4 security updates.
For max, any phone hardly goes about 3-4 years after which we buy new devices.
So custom ROM is unneeded since we're getting all latest updates.
But I think Realme gives less updates, so take upon your choice.
I bought this phone when it was released, now you can buy better phones instead of these.
Realme k snapdragon phones bohot hi rarely get 1 custom rom. It's pointless to go for snapdragon in realme phones
