  • Ingredients:
    Semiya / Vermicelli - 100 g (Unroasted)
    Potato - 1 big (Boiled and mashed)
    Frozen peas - 1 handful
    Onion - 1 medium (Finely chopped)
    Green Chilly (Finely chopped)
    Ginger - 1 big piece (Crushed)
    Turmeric powder - 3 pinches
    Coriander Leaves
    Garam masala - ½ tbsp
    Cashew nuts - 1 handful
    Dates - 2 (Chopped)
    Egg
    Breadcrumbs
    Salt
    Oil
    Steps:
    Bring water to boil in a pan. Add required salt and semiya.
    Stir well and cook till it becomes soft.
    Once done, drain and discard the water.
    Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, ginger, green chillies and cashew nuts.
    Cook on medium flame, till the onion becomes soft.
    Add turmeric powder and saute till the raw smell goes.
    Add frozen peas, dates, potato and cooked semiya.
    Add garam masala and mix thoroughly. Turn off the flame and let it cool.
    Add coriander leaves to the semiya mix. Add salt if needed.
    Mix well with hands. Shape them to the shape of your choice.
    Dip this in beaten egg and then roll in breadcrumbs to give a coating.
    Heat oil in a pan. Drop cutlets one by one on medium flame.
    Fry both the sides and remove from oil.
    Serve the cutlet hot.
