  • In this video, “Nusubito Ashi”, I teach how to do one of the most secret stealth walking techniques within ninjutsu! Nusubito Ashi means: “Thief Step” and is a way to move silently in close quarters without being heard.
This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).

I was a sniper in Call of Duty, no not really, is there a thing of Stolen Valor in video games? lol I love that you are sharing the footwork to the public. I have read there are as many as 6 steps but few people teach them all. I don't fancy step so much, but I sometimes walk in the house if the dark with my hands out to feel for door openings; we have wood floors so there is some squeaking to think about. Get to know your house, in a home invasion you want to pick the place of battle.

Great video Anshu! You guys and gals that work in any field that requires you to enter undetected should appeeciate this one. Soke is one of the beast Ninjutsu instructors I have ever seen. Tomo ryu is the main Ninjutsu school of this system, but she is equally adept in Togakure. It is just that our focus is more on the Tomo Ryu style of doing things. I hope to train with you all soon!

Good stuff! I would assume it would be quite dangerous to approach an unfamilliar environment such as someone's house as your unaware of the surroundings? That is unless you've been there before. Or does stealth ninjutsu training enable you to be more confident in areas that your unaware of as well?

Thank you for your kind words and post. This is not a bujinkan technique, nor is this a bujinkan school. If you want to know more about the ninjutsu that is taught here at the Budo Ryu Kai, please see our website: www.BudoRyuNinjutsu.com
