I actually LOVE the way it came out girl !!!! Way more spicy then just being all dark
Please make sure you don’t get the wella toner t-18, it will not do anything for your hair since it’s not a level 9-10

@@momma8954 I didnt use it, I just used blue and purple shampoo and conditioner for a while until the orange brasiness toned down. Alternatively I have just put a brown hair colour over the whole lot after a couple of weeks that tones it down alot though. Hope that helped😊

This product is the best at home diy highlighting kit I've ever used on anyone including myself. I get my hair done a lot and do hair as well and this one is the best one I've come across that actually does what it's supposed to and doesn't make your hair brassy looking.

Hey @maybeHeilly a tip for next time is to use a half tea spoon of blue black box dye (the colour tube only) and mix it with conditioner or a sulfate free shampoo ! :) leave it on for 3-5 minutes MAX and then you'll get perfectly toned highlights. It also doesn't fade as fast as a actual toner.

Ur suppose to brush ur hair all back before putting the cap on, this prevents the harsh highlights at the root. Still looks good tho!

You should go get a toner, I feel you need to see how you like that as well. I think it looks great !! Don’t give up. I like the caps better that the foils. Sometime, try some light brown shades. The darker your hair is, the longer it takes to come up. It goes thru orange gold & so on. You really have to be careful, it can really dry ur hair & cause it to break. Find a good conditioner & use it faithfully. ❤

I remember seeing cap highlights done for the first time. I was like 10 at the salon with my mom. Looked painful. Now I'm not sure if that was normal? Do hairstylists use highlight caps?
Edit: apparently there was a cap hughlight era where stylists did use them. Brad Mondo educated me.
My stylist used it on my hair about twelve years ago.
It's actually nice girl! You just need a few extra highlights around your face. I would have saved a little to add more around my face if I needed it. The lighter color looks good on you. Hugs!

Heilly, i think they came out awesome! I just did this on my little sister in law. It came out really nice too! Almost like a balayage/ombre type of look with blended highlights on top. It was her
first time ever dying her hair. She’ll need toner eventually too, but overall it went well! Kate, I’m curious how yours came out! 😊
@@kimi4244 It did a great job sectioning my hair. I was also trying to go for a balayage but I have a very dark hair thus, the brown and golden colors didn't pop up nicely hahaha. I'm resting my hair for now but will try to bleach my it for a more noticeable lighter color hihi. :)

You may want to tone it using a dark blonde demipermanent color, diluted with a little water and left on the hair for about ten to fifteen minutes.
