Your daughter isn’t there anymore, she’s gone. Youre forever trapped in the darkness with the blue light.

This was actually mind dissolving. After a while I ended up forgetting what blue was supposed to be written like, to look like. I lost myself in this entirely and if it had stayed at that it still would have been memorable and more than worth the 8:41 spent, even though it felt decades longer than that. The coupe de grace however made me terrified to turn around for the first time in I'd wager about 15 years.
I misread the "Deeper" at 5:53 as "Creeper" and immediately went from feeling like a human in a corrupt parallel world to feeling like a boy caught hiding in the girl's locker room
THIS is the perfect example of true horror. It's not relying on sudden loud noises and it only has one really creepy thing near the end that's less in-your-face. The music that's playing through this really gets to you, the sudden static bursts with ominous texts but nothing typically scary edges you closer. And when the axe comes down with the final scare, it's not some jumpscare popping outta nowhere with earrape. It's just this...thing staring at you and a vague warning What makes this work is how it's leaving this up to your imagination. When it's you're own mind at the reins, it quickly comes up with thoughts that will scare you. This was a properly horrifying experience and now if you'll excuse me, there's a blanket I need to hide under for the rest of my life

I don't know if it's due to the exposure or some other kind of thing, but I genuinely couldn't help but feel a strange sense of comfort at the end. Kind of like the feeling when you finally remember something that has long been forgotten, and your mind finally clears up. It reached the climax at the end, and when the creature appeared, I couldn't help but smile. Dunno, it felt like a drug trip, albeit a nice one.

Is no one talking about the serene orchestra music at the end? Like, it's beautiful and has no right to be. The audio as a whole reminds me more than anything of EATEOT, and not just because of the creepiness. The heavily slowed, barely coherent, mind numbing music is extremely similar to that of stage 6. And the orchestra seems to serve the same purpose as the chorus of angels at the end of stage 6. To break the fear and confusion for a moment, with emotion. It's basically stage 6 in 8 minutes.

That was low-key I really tough time for me, so I’d rather not talk about it but man... I’m glad it’s over now. I think I was stressed and I was seeing things because of lack of sleep but the things I was seeing made it hard to sleep every night so I was just stuck in an endless cycle. Also I hadn’t left the house in months in fear of the virus and I really needed some fresh air, which eventually I went on a walk to a nearby park thing and watched the pond for frogs and newts (there was none but the waterskaters or whatever they’re called were also nice to just watch skate around) and after that I felt much better. I really like that place

I don't know if it's due to the exposure or some other kind of thing, but I genuinely couldn't help but feel a strange sense of comfort at the end. Kind of like the feeling when you finally remember something that has long been forgotten, and your mind finally clears up. It reached the climax at the end, and when the creature appeared, I couldn't help but smile. Dunno, it felt like a drug trip, albeit a nice one.

You know something's wrong in your head when this kinda shit fascinates you and you listen to it for an unreasonable amount of time because you genuinely enjoy it.

Is no one talking about the serene orchestra music at the end? Like, it's beautiful and has no right to be.
The audio as a whole reminds me more than anything of EATEOT, and not just because of the creepiness. The heavily slowed, barely coherent, mind numbing music is extremely similar to that of stage 6. And the orchestra seems to serve the same purpose as the chorus of angels at the end of stage 6. To break the fear and confusion for a moment, with emotion.
It's basically stage 6 in 8 minutes.
