  • This semester I've had the good fortune of studying abroad in Paris, and in the interest of better remembering it all I've documented a good deal of my experiences :) Here's week one of my grand European adventure.

So excited to see how you enjoyed your time in Paris and the stuff you got up to! If you're comfortable sharing, it would be great to hear even rough numbers on how much you spent on living expenses, cultural activities, going out etc. and maybe some recommendations of places to go/things to do for other exchange students to meet locals and improve their French. I am hoping to go to Paris year after next and knowing how much I should plan to spend and having some ideas of things to do would be so helpful

Fabulous natural light in your images of the city, and a really cool, natural tour of the streets capturing the tourist attractions as well as the natural life and sights of the city.
Good luck with your studies, and look forward to more 📼📹 from you in the future

Would you recommend staying with a host family? I'm not sure how to go about finding one in Paris but I think it could be a cool experience.

Yes I definitely would recommend it! It’s such a great way to get immersed in the language and culture, and I’ve done it twice. Unfortunately I’m not too sure how to find a host family, I was lucky enough that my study abroad program set it up for me

French is hard, especially in the details (and that’s coming from someone who has a C1-level). So don’t worry about it.

not enough context given immediately in the first few seconds, not even more context fed to my brain and deciphering side of me which isnt good. mrbeast has that down, although u shouldnt have to scream the context its the most practical but lazy less creative approach to context feeding and hooking teh viewers brain.
