@LATRYGUY you should come to baton rouge my guy. We have so much good food here and in Lafayette.From crawfish, to bbq to Mexican and everything in between we have it. And you can do a boudin food run in Scott Louisiana which is the boudin capital and location for the boudin festival and just down the road 15 min. is Breaux bridge the crawfish capital. Don't just visit n.o visit baton rouge and Lafayette while here and I bet you won't be disappointed.
This is my favorite video of yours! My Dad was from Baton Rouge, spoke creole and my Mom is Western Shoshone and he taught her to cook. Though my brother and I spoke crazy english at first we did learn how to cook! Love all that fresh water food and I can throw down in the kitchen with Native flair. I make a gumbo and a home made barbecue sauce I learned from my late Dad and it's second to none. He even taught us to make our own pie and cobbler dough. I'm ever thankful ❤

I will be trying it out next time im in L.A. and there is another spot about to open soon called bookou poboys in and the owner is from New Orleans he does pop ups with Louisiana dishes now but his store is coming soon.
If u come don't just visit new Orleans, you have to hit baton rouge and the Lafayette/scott cities as well. You can't go wrong with food in these three cities or any southern Louisiana cities bc they're are so many good spots for all types of food.
