hey mate, I tried doing that but to no avail [since Download Mode precedes over Bootloader, hence there's not much room to tinker with either the Bootloader/Fastboot or the FastbootD Mode]. By the way, why is there a need for you to access FastbootD Mode? Is it for a GSI ROM. In that case, you may also use the DSU Sideloader to get this job done [ruclips.net/video/xFc86_VTkug/видео.htmlfeature=shared] as it doesn't require accessing the FastbootD Mode.
