I was there for a week last September, it was like 34 degrees and the sea was lovely and warm, I’m going back this summer for 2 weeks, best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!!.
Excellent video Andy, well done, the delphin imperial Hotel looks very nice, we stayed in a lovely 4* in bodrum turkey a few years back, keep up the great work 👍
I can honestly say it is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything was 5 star, food was fantastic, drinks, rooms. Couldn't fault it apart from 7 days wasn't enough. We went all inclusive, in March is was fairly affordable and still hot enough for us. Thanks for watching.
@OutandaboutwithAndy yes you can certainly pick up some good value holidays out of season, OK the weather may not be guaranteed but its still nice to experience a bit of luxury at affordable prices
@@OutandaboutwithAndy Travelling with an 8 year old and a stroppy teen I don’t think I’ll be leaving the resort much. I’ve just finished my booking!!! So excited. Thanks for such a detailed review
@@sahiqashaber2176 You will have a great time on the resort, everything is catered for. I couldn't cram everything into the video but there is also a bowling alley and cinema in the hotel too - we didn't visit them whilst we were there. Have a great holiday.
Only ever stopped in the Oludeniz and Hisaronu areas of Turkey but our hotels were never as plush as this one, it looked great. very impressive outdoors area with heated and unheated outdoors pools and what a size it was too. Could not believe the amount of food there was on offer and I am very conservative in what I like to eat but something there for everyone I would say and I could feel the weight piling on looking at all those sweets. Seemed to be plenty of entertainment on there too, given it was March and real early in the season, cheers Alan
Yeah, there was plenty of entertainment, a band played in another bar most evenings too. The food seemed way OTT, and the staff regularly replaced some of the dishes. They were also meticulous about checking the temperature of the food on the hot plates, too. Luckily, because of the size of the hotel, we still managed to get our steps in every day - probably just as well as we'd have needed a row of seats each on the plane back! 😀 Thanks for watching Alan. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.
That's a beautiful resort Andrew, very Vegas-like as you said when we chatted. It looks like everything you would need, without ever ever leaving the property. Your room was very nice and had a beautiful view. The pool, and most importantly the food, looked absolutely spectacular! Having said that, places like that aren't really for me as I like to stay rural and get away from people when I vacation, but it certainly looks like an amazing place for people that enjoy a resort holiday. Fantastic show around!
Thanks for watching Paul. We wanted to experience this type of hotel as we've never stayed somewhere like this before. We both said we weren't sure we'd like it in high season when It would be even busier. We usually like to get out and explore the local area and there wasn't much of that here. I think Fiona said it best that it was a place to go when you are older and you just want to sit and relax, be fed and enjoy the sun.
The best I went to was 4 star, in Cyprus last year. The only issue with such a good hotel is that we wanted to enjoy it as much as possible, which meant we had less time to enjoy the rest of the country!
@RoqueFortStu I'd agree with that. This hotel is perfect if you want to chill out and relax. I have stayed in some awful hotels where you couldn't wait to get out of the door on a morning 😀
Efes was available on draft in all the bars too. We sat and worked out per night and including all the food and drink it was a bargain at this time of the year.
The hotel was fantastic, we really couldn't fault it and out of season it was a bargain. The staff were really attentive, wanted to make sure you were having a good stay. Food was excellent too.
Thanks for watching John. Yes it was a great place to stay. Out of season it is very reasonable, 5 star all inclusive plus for the same price as a 3 star in the Canaries.
It’s a beautiful area. I’d love to visit and now I know where to stay. My sister stopped in Turkey on her way to Thailand for their honeymoon. They loved both places.
You won't be disappointed with the stay at this hotel. It can be expensive in high season, but out of season, it was superb value for money. Thanks for watching.
Bruce, it was great. The staff were always looking after you, asking if you wanted another drink and / or chips and nuts....plus there was the patisserie inside and the food stalls outside, I think you could graze around the clock ⏰️ 😉 I hope you and Otis are doing well.
@rhianfenton5426 We stayed all-inclusive. The fairground was free. I only visited one pool, the heated outdoor pool, and that was definitely freshwater.
Hi, thank you for wonderfull video. We want to go this otel and we have a question. What were the alcohols like and do you remember their brand? Are their alcohols good quality? İf you can answer this questions we will be very happy.
We were not given any free tickets for Luna Park when we stayed at the Delphin, so I would expect you would have to pay. You will need to take a bus or taxi as Lara beach is a good distance from Antalya. The fairground at the hotel (as featured in the video) is free.
@@OutandaboutwithAndy thanks by loonapark I meant the one mentioned on 8:20 , the one inside the hotel. This year we been in Granada luxury Belek which had similar but needed to pay extra for rides.
The estimated travel time between Antalya Airport and Delphin Imperial Hotel is 30 minutes. A comfortable and safe journey awaits you. Pay at the airport... 4 SEASONS TRANSFER
Wow this is an amazing hotel Andy, only question we have, did it beat the Royal in Whitby? 😂 incredible footage, what a magnificent place. A superb hotel and a great video tour and review, we are glad you got to stay there ❤ 🏨
Oooh, now you're asking the hard questions 😀. I can't remember the wind rattling the windows at 4am in Turkey! The Delphin is a great place to relax. The only criticism is it is a long way out from Antalya. We did use the bus service, which is a cheap way around. It would be great if the hotel were able to do a shuttle bus to the Antalya centre every day. They do 3 services every week (1 to the Old Town and two to 2 shopping malls per week).
@@OutandaboutwithAndy brilliant review Andy, Turkey is probably somewhere we would avoid giving our interactions with the locals but at the same time we really enjoyed our holiday there. If we were to venture back this has been very helpful. Such a long flight and connection time though. turkey is MASSIVE!

Hi, thank you for wonderfull video. We want to go this otel and we have a question. What were the alcohols like and do you remember their brand? Are their alcohols good quality? İf you can answer this questions we will be very happy.
All the drinks seemed to be premium brands. Certainly I like a glass of Baileys Irish Cream and that was definitely the genuine product.
Was the rides and other stuff free?
Yes all of the facilities are free apart from the paragliding and possibly the spa.
Nice,And do they have a dresscode at diner or can you just enter with sweatpants? Tnx.
No swimwear in the buffet restaurants, a t shirt and jeans or dress shorts seemed to be fine. The A la carte restaurants may be more strict.
Ok thanks for the information.
do you have to be wearing an 18+ wristband if i want to get drinks?
I would think so.
Did u use the free room service from midnight till 6am ?
We didn't but no doubt it would have been excellent.
