- PERSIANNA - Oriental Fox Trot
(White)
Played by The Bar Harbor Society Orchestra
Vocalion A-14284, 1921.
Note: please watch at 720p for better picture quality.
"Persianna," a lively number with exotic overtones and the requisite banjo keeping time, is the reverse side of "Tell Her at Twilight," played by the Yerkes Flotilla Orchestra.
The pictures of Omar and friend are taken from magazine advertisements for Omar Turkish cigarettes from 1915.
Special thanks to Betty for this record from her collection. - Видеоклипы

Dear Genia,
PERSIAN stars? I will treasure them!

In brazilian portuguese (I don't know if in Portugal is the same) "Persiana"(without other "n") means window shutter.
