New York Chinese Cultural Center's performance at Times Square New Year's Eve Countdown 2024

Invited by our cultural partner Sino-American Friendship Association, NYCCC rang in the new year with a performance on the main stage of the Times Square New Year's Eve Countdown 2024. As the opening act to the celebration, we debuted our newly choreographed piece, "Harmony of Wuliangye" that highlighted Chinese drinking rituals, Sichuan Hua Dan Opera, and Lion/Dragon dance. Thank you to our cast including our community partner Dance For the People Dance Studio, guest performers from the Conservatory of Dance, SUNY Purchase College, and the dedicated artists from NYCCC's Resident Company.
