Aw thank you so much! I'm actually very inspired by quilting, it's on my "someday" list. I have a crochet idea for this year inspired by quilting, I hope I can bring it to reality 🤩
when I was around 13/14, I had one of my first real brushes with psychosis (technically started developing symptoms at 8, but it was mostly small things). I was convinced I was a character from a show (not naming either of them, as it's embarrassing 💀), and one day, as I was scrolling on youtube, I got recommended a video to make said character's hat I knew my mother had yarn, as she's knit way longer than I've been alive, so I went and checked her stash. sure enough, she had the right colours, in the right weight and everything. somehow, there was also the right crochet hook, despite her only knitting I took that as a sign and taught myself how to crochet now, almost 9 years later, I'm in my early 20s. while that psychotic delusion has passed, my love of fiber art hasn't! I've even begun making my own patterns :]
