Precast buildings are only good for areas with little rain due to sealant problems...the hot n cold temperature variation would eventually break the seal...wetted perimeters are difficult to seal permanently...the advantage in construction would be overridden with maintenance costs😅😅😅
@@lachen7 you are right...I hv done a lot of precast...n the major problems are sealing the joints, openings, mech.jambs, etc. Structural sealants are good at exposed or mechanical joints. For plumbing services on slab, we use epoxy n it is expensive. For repairs of wetted areas, grout injection. It depends on the areas of usage.😬😬

It's one thing to say a machine can do such and such faster than a brick layer, but if it's not doing the entire job, then it's not really an honest company. As for the other fast built buildings, at what cost? I don't mean as in cost of production and construction, but things such as safety, longevity, etc. You tend to find that when trying to do such things, there are costs in other areas that cause problems. Thinner walls would mean more noise being heard, which, if course, would lead to neighbours complaining more!

Considering the amount of Buildings in NYC alone that are falling apart and held by scaffolds for the past few decades, I'd say USA is definitely shocked. Some of these new earthquake resistant robotic structures are cheaper, and more durable than USA's scaffold constructions to hold the buildings up and stop them from crumbling.

Considering the amount of Buildings in NYC alone that are falling apart and held by scaffolds for the past few decades, I'd say USA is definitely shocked. Some of these new earthquake resistant robotic structures are cheaper, and more durable than USA's scaffold constructions to hold the buildings up and stop them from crumbling.

China is a Meritocratic Country. USA is a Corporatocratic Country. Both are capitalistic, and both have a different flavour of Democracy. The major difference is that in a Meritocratic Country like 21st Century China, most of the Tax Payers money goes back to the Tax Paying Citizens, in terms of Civic Infrastructures, and affordable Civic Services. In a 21st Century Corporatocratic Country like USA, most of the Tax Payers money go to Corporations, who are suppose to 'trickle down' the Tax Payers money to their workers (however, after Corporations have given themselves huge salary rises and share holder rises, a few cents get down to the workers). Also, China is far more Capitalistic than USA ... after all, they are now the only country making profits, while USA is sinking further into debt. But their Capitalism is different to USA Capitalism. China's Capitalism allows people to capitalise on ideas and concepts ... as long as they DO NOT destroy someone elses careers and opportunities. USA Capitalism is base on pure GREED ... hence why you have 1% of USA's population owning 90% of the Country's wealth.
