My favorite thing about Robbie is that he has an insane amount of professionalism is his work, which is incredible clear from his end products ( From editing, to sound quality, to visuals, to literally every aspect of his videos ) yet we also get to see him be a complete meme at times in a lot of his videos. It’s a refreshing sense of reality that I get from watching him.

This song is so comforting because I feel so much pressure to justify myself to people who think they know my mind better than I do, and have been treated like I'm selfish for doing what's best for myself, so it's so nice to sing along to lyrics like "I don't want to give/I want it for myself/As selfish as it is/I need it for my health/And I have stuff to do/For me, nobody else" and "I know you're trying to help/I think that's really nice/But I know myself/I don't need your advice."

I found cavetown one year and six months ago
My best friend told me about you robbie he and i were besties because he and i had kinda been through a lot of the same kinda stuff i always gave him advice he wanted to do drugs i told him not to he wanted to run away again and i told him not too he didnt want be my friend after that because he just thought i wasnt hardcore anymore
I sit 20 feet away from him everyday at lunch he looks awful and its really lame because i still miss him and i still want to help him but he hates me because no one ever cared about him the way i did and he didnt know what to do with it so he abandoned me and told me if i ever talked to him again that i really didnt care about him the way i say i do

Just spent the past hour practicing my vocals (11.5mosT and Eflat2-E4 with E5 falsetto) and I'm always so inspired to keep practicing when I listen to Robbie's voice!! Love the fullness of the lower notes and how sweet that falsetto is at the same time. I know this is an old video and his voice has gotten even more secure over the past couple years, but as a person whose notes are playing hide and seek in my throat and chest currently, after living in my head for 3 decades, I can't tell you how much I've needed his music to get me through! Thanks for being you, Robbie!

these acoustic versions are always so good. the way all the guitar parts are layered with the the vocals and harmonies are always so beautiful. the minimal editing always gives it such a homemade feel too that makes you all warm and comfy just by watching 10/10 i always end up watching these over and over
