This deck is EXACTLY the way I wanted to build my raffine! The only thing I can think of that I'd include is Wonder for an easy discard!

    Amazing!!!
Thank you for the tech! She seems like one of those commanders that will only get better with time!

Definitely! I’m having a blast goldfishing the deck I might build it. Not cedh by any means but it’ll give my casual pod hell I’m sure 🤣

Turns out sacrificing a chasm skulker to ghoulcaller gisa with Felisa on the field is just busted 🤣

Great deck tech connive is an awesome mechanic. One thing to note though, shorikai is a vehicle which means it's only an artifact in the gy not a creature so you can resnimate it with the spells here. It's still a great card for the list but you should just hard cast it.

I realized that while goldfishing and went “well shit” 🤣

On the recent Balrog video I made the suggestion of using a sac engine plus any persist creature in rakdos colors in conjunction with Metallic Mimic for infinite sacing. In this deck Metallic Mimic, while you can't exactly go infinite, an argument could be made that Metallic Mimic would be even more powerful when coupled with Glen Elendra considering she's counter control and her own sac engine.

Thanks for posting! I just broke apart my Raffine deck because it had too many staples, so this is a good start

It’s definitely a fun take it feels super consistent while goldfishing also 😁

Raffine is probably one of my favorites ive made and saw somebreally good suggestions in here. I went with a lot of creatures that reanimate themselves in mine though. Also drake haven and nadir kraken get really scary when i play them. Vengeful pharaoh also keeps a lot of heat off me and gets people a lot when theyre not paying attention.

This is a neat idea, I might use this as a guideline for a more budget friendly version, alongside a budget kess deck I'm brewing that focuses on modal spells.

It can definitely be a very strong budget commander!

@@decktechsfordecks It is also easy to scale the power level up and down regardless of budget, just by changing your reanimator bombs.

I switched my rogues from Anowon to raffine, and never looked back. Low to the ground unblockable creatures to buff, plus robue shenanigans are super fun

One of my favorite things I ever did with my Raffine reanimator deck was sacrifice a Toothy, the with his trigger on the stack, instant speed reanimated him with a Demon of Dark Schemes to immediately get 12 counters back on Toothy

Dream trawler and altar of baal would be crazy in this deck, also maybe include some unlockable creatures like Ghastlord of Fugue or Deepchannel Mentor

I have a Raffine deck and once it gets going then its game. Tokens, card draw, and discard shenanigans make it really hard to interact with (especially when you get to draw into more counterspells and control magic).

Right it’s feels super consistent because of that

So Adeline's tokens don't trigger Raffine's ability the turn they come into play because according to 508.5 creatures that come into play tapped and attacking for the purpose of triggers like Raffine's never attacked

    • @decktechsfordecks
      @decktechsfordecks  Год назад +5

Raffine’s trigger and Adeline’s will happen at the same time. you can’t target a token for the connive ability but, they will still count towards the overall cards you draw and discard. This is because Raffine’s ability only cares about how many creatures are attacking :)

You have the right idea for the deck and some of the cards you suggest are actually really good. Unfortunately, a lot of your suggestions are also mid-low power oriented or what I like to call Timmy magic. Cards where u need to jump through hoops to achieve sth are bad. i.e towashi, archpriest, dragon, dread return, celestine, ayara. You're also missing Necromancy btw
Now creatures like Elenda and Felisa are too cute. Dreadhorde invasion is meh, bitterblossom is better for going wide which is what you wanna be doing. Geralf and gissa ugh
Clever concealment but no Flawless maneuver or teferis protection?
The ozolith: win more. if youre ahead its ok if youre behind does nothing.
You dont play talismas or signets in Raffine. Your gameplan is t1 creature t2 creature t3 raffine. Not t1 nothing t2 talisman t3 raffine lol
Youre the aggro deck with this, dont play symmetrical board wipes such as Damn.
