    The real ones have seen these matches already. Little back story to that first match: Todd had already beat Bill Brzenk (John's brother) so there is most likely a correlation between the aggression against Todd.

    The recent big thing Johnny Walker said about why John was so good was this.
    John's back flairs with a lot of width and strength, and he uses his lats and core strength for a lot of his armwrestling torque and force too.
    That is what Walker noticed back when John started to beat him around 1985-6.

      Johnny was a pretty thin guy, so eventually John got bigger than him, but all these other guys might have as good or better body strength. John’s hand torque and connection to his hand as far as leverage make him super hard to open up, and no matter how hard the other guys can pull, they don’t have the same strength against his hand. I would be shocked if he could curl or row more than his best competitors.

    John was a beast then and that was also a very aggressive John because Todd Hutchins beat him prior to that so he had revenge on him. Most of the time at least 99% of time John always beat Todd who was also his training partner so they kinda knew each other style very well.

    The only man that when he was young no one could beat in strength in his left arm, not even Devon could win against him and he was a small man compared to the others.

    Yea man Brzenk definitely the goat no doubt about it. Devon the only one that's knocking on the goat status door. But with Brzenk still going and having matches like this past leonadis match it'll be very tough for anyone to take that goat status away. Brzenk brought the sport to a certain point now Devon is bringing it up to another level also. Id like to see Travis Bagent vs Brzenk again someday soon

    anyone who stone walls Levan for 20 seconds and forces him into a flop being 133 pounds lighter I'd say is the best. John in his prime was getting flashed by the supers with marginal weight diference ( Alexey Voevoda ) What John just did to Leonidas recently was something to behold though.

    • @rollinupeverest5042
      @rollinupeverest5042 Месяц назад

      Disgusting to even say what you're saying.... How do you know Shame or logical reason. You Fanboys are delusional

    • @tricster4u
      @tricster4u Месяц назад +2

      You are delusional and i will tell you why because i am watching this sport for 20 years. Brzenk in the match with Voevoda was injured and not 100% for that match and even so he was not flashpinned, he didn't have enough biceps strength to hold him due to the injury but he had the hand and wrist if you rewatch the match, on the loosing side he turned Voevoda on his loosing side with a reverse toproll, insane strength beeing much lighter then Voevoda. In my opinion, John Brzenk that gave 6-0 to Cyplenkov would beat any version of Devon Larratt easy, that crap kingsmove would not stop the prime Brzenk to flop press him, if a 57 years old Brzenk redlined Devon then prime 2006 Brzenk would take the shit of out Devon. Returning to Devon vs Levan, he didn't stonewall Levan at all, Levan was not sure about his wrist integrity and didn't force to injury it , the rounds 2,3,4 Levan flashpinned Devon. You seem to forget Laletin stonewalled also Levan and Laletin beat Devon all the time in all their practices, Devon is just too smart and in a real match would probably find a way to crack Laletin but Laletin is the stronger man and if he would train his biceps in the right way he would beat Devon anytime of the day, all the time. Ermes would beat Devon too in the rematch, he had a bad untrained wrist one year ago, he progressed a lot on cupping and wrist lately.

    • @Hawk-a-Paw
      @Hawk-a-Paw Месяц назад

      @@tricster4u I wouldn't admit you been watching that long and already forgot that the 2008 Devon beat John 6 - 0 the same year Cyplenkov lost to John. Yeah yeah injury same old story. John could have backed out but he didn't also Cyplenkov refused a RH match till just recently. I love John and think in a way he is the greatest but Laletin did not stop Levan even close to the same way Devon did and in a different rule system Levan would have gassed out easy as he couldn't even press Devon to the pad through the Kings. 133 lb differential. It's no joke.

    Why the goat? If prime Denis and prime levan can beat him? Ah because he competed for 40 years winning only in america? Yes mee to iv pulled for 60+ years in my country only winning... Should i be the goat too? Because there are like 5 goats in AW why not 6.... Sometime armwrestling Is so ridicoulus.. same fans Who think WWE Is real🤣🤣🤣
