Awesome discussion so far. I like learning about the history of Israel. Going through your video now, but it kicks off to a wonderful start. Thank you, Dr. Carter for doing this video. God bless!

@@IronMatt Actually, I saw you today at Donny's recent video in the live chat. You doing good, brother? I have an interview with Donny from Standing for Truth ministries tomorrow on ERVs, and my interview with Dr. Gabriela Haynes from Answers in Genesis on alleged bird evolution is uploading now to RUclips. It's nice to see you again. God bless!

This is my second time watching this. I appreciate your research into the Bible. Our Pastor is teaching on 1 and 11 Samuel, so I'm finding this information very helpful to understand the big picture of those times. Blessings to all!

Regarding your discussion around 4:00. There is a third option: the archaeological dates are wrong. Check out the Patterns of Evidence series. He shows convincingly that the Egyptian timeline (which is what all other archaeological timelines are based off of) is inflated by several centuries, giving secular archaeologists an excuse for saying the Bible isn't historically accurate.

Genesis 10:13-14 Egypt fathered Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,... Pathrusim, Casluhim (from whom the Philistines came), and Caphtorim.

The statement at the top of the map in this video accurately indicates that the Philistines were NOT Canaanites genealogically, as correctly stated, as they migrated or emigrated from the island of Crete (claimed by ancient Greece), in the "Great [Mediterranean] Sea" to the coast of ancient Canaan, that comprises today the countries of Israel's and Lebanon's, west coast. Geographically, the Philistines settled in Canaan as the video accurately depicts, but were NOT descendants of Canaan, Noah's grandson, and Ham's son from a genealogical perspective. (See Genesis Chapter 10: Verse 14.)

Sorry, forgive my dyslexia; it's more like:
Modern China = The ancient Phoenicia.
And yes, in regards to the "One Child" policy vs. the Phoenician child sacrifices.

Yes... during the "One Child" policy; which officially ended not too long ago because now the Chinese government needs more citizens with which to threaten and invade other nations around them in the future, sadly.

Maps inspired by religious books and historical books and projecting them onto specific lands and countries is a wrong projection. The simplest example is the country known today as Iraq. It is not the historical country of Mesopotamia in the first place. There is no Babylon or Assyria in this land, and also there is no such thing as the Sumerians. This is a term introduced by an American writer at the beginning of the 20th century. There is no such name in the first place. As well as the rest of the designations and maps, the country known as the Republic of Egypt is not the historical Egypt mentioned in the Bible, and the country known as Saudi Arabia is not the country of the land of the Arabs, and a country like Lebanon is not the country of Laban, the name taken from the Bible, and the country known today as Palestine is not Palestine and is not the Holy Lands. . The country known as Iran is not Persia at all, and so on

'Perhaps' the European Jews are descendents of the Israelite/Judeans of the immigration during the Hellenistic era, those taken as slaves after the First Jewish-Roman War, the Bar Kokhva Revolt and those who fled the Arab conquest in the 7th century.
