    We have another successful build. this is a 16x32 6ft deep vinyl liner inground pool. this one took us about 2 weeks of total work time to finish. we built a retaining wall 4 blocks high to build up the yard. there's about 1000 sq ft of light-broomed finished concrete. thanks for watching please like &

    Really nice, enjoy it. Since you have some extra room, I would stretch it out a bit longer though.

    VERY INTERESTING- CERTAINLY DIFFERENT FROM HOW OURS WILL BE BUILT IN CA. THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE MY OLD NEIGHBORHOOD, GLENMORE, IN KESWICK VA NEAR CHAROTTESVILLE

    question for you. we are building our own currently, and our build specs never mentioned 57 gravel in the pool floor. is this helpful for keeping the final grade?

    • @jonport_
      @jonport_  Месяц назад

      @@matthayes8852 yes for sure. 3/8- would work aswell.the 57s here are a 3/4- crushed stone.

    Awesome work! I like that sand and cement mix for the pool base. Is this about the same strength as that usual "pool base"? vermiculite, I think its called

    • @jonport_
      @jonport_  2 года назад +1

      No not at all. It’s way stronger. 50% sand 50% cement. Vermiculite mixture is 1 to 7 cement to sand. So a drastic change in the cement. I don’t like it

      @@jonport_ that’s awesome, that’s sounds like it’s better for cold areas where it freezes in the winter. BTW all work looks clean and organized 👌
