This headline is toxic af. Overthinking is an anxiety pattern, which is also a coping mechanism. Nobody can release negative energy. Besides is negative energy what grounds everyone to your body and to earth. Negative energy is needed to have life experience. This whole nonsense talk of people need to release something in order to feel good doesn't either work nor is realistic. Telling people to stop overthinking doesn't come from an understanding and supportive place. For stopping certain patterns you need to understand where when and why you worry and what you need to feel safe in the moment.
