Thanks for the feature Kieran - good riding with you! I'll let you ride my bike next time; it's easier than trying to explain why my bikes look like this - especially while doing this monstruous climb.😉
Thanks for the look back and amazing video work while riding the toughest climb challenge anywhere. I am the guy on the blue bike at 7:07 and 8:10 in your video. Thank you for the feature.

I think there are 4 in total. Not much on offer though…bananas, bars at some, energy drinks and powder mix at one of them. Just about enough to survive :)
@@kieranbarry8193 Ah, because once I saw a similar one. But cannot remember the brand. I think it was at two wheel cruise channel. So there must be a company, which provides them. Good for travelling by airplane.
Nice ride and awesome video! Questions, are you just using the phone to record or a gopro? How did you place the camera on your chest during the crash? I didn't see you wearing a chest mount?
Oh, got it! I have the old model, the go 2. The memory is quite limited and the battery when out of the pod is quite short. I assume the new model is better now.
Awesome experience, thanks for sharing! I look forward to riding this next year.
Get an emonda bro Logan !

Ha! Likewise and I look forward to riding that bike….you can take my gravel bike ;)

Hope you got a good time!
Timing was ok as long as we made it inside the time cut. 🤝🏻
Good job! It was really a tough and amazing route!
Were you on it?
Great video. And all while riding up that beast. Well done!
Added yet another element of ‘interest’ to the ride for sure :)
Good man Kieran. 👏👏
Congrats and thanks for sharing!!
Great video,Thanks
You made that look easy pal well done 😁👍
Well done!!!
Earned my subscription, nice talk😁
Well done - Massive!!!!
Great effort mate
Looks Fun!!! Congrats!!!
Speechless !
You should try Neverstop Wuling on June or July. Its the other way of KOM. 53km ascent. Its more steep. You'll enjoy it.
I’ve ridden the road up from Puli by myself. Didn’t know there was an event for it. It may be steeper but it’s not as tough as the kom I think
On the website it only mentions less than 8%
Good job mate!!
Thank you!
Please 🙏

How were you healthwise after the race? You were under the weather when you ran this.
I was in bed for the next 24hrs but then made a pretty quick recovery though took a few days off the bike :)
Great video - How many food break stops are there? And what type of food and drinks are provided? Do they have gel or carb powder?

Close call with that crash. I wonder if there are any mechanical support cars?
There are and a lot of riders are in teams and have their own team cars

08:06 what bike is that? 😮
It’s a road bike with small wheels! The guy riding it, Stijn, designed and produces them himself

same bike... i have videos of it in my channel type stijncycles

what gravel bike did you ride? What gearing? How much did it weigh? Thanks in advance
Cannondale topstone aluminium. 32-48/34-11 gearing. About 9kgs.
Would have been a whole lot easier on 7kgs of road bike :)
Nice ride and awesome video!

Insta 360 go 3. I’m using the magnetic pendant. Very happy with it

i did it dec. '19, but on a 125 honda.
Hmm, not quite the same :)
No, but few Gringos even see beautiful Taiwan, or awesome Toroko gorge.

@@anthonyhomercycling I’m assuming you were doing it as well? And avoided that crash? :)
yes i was on the right side when the crash happened... @@kieranbarry8193
Great ride and great video! Can I ask you if there is still a six hour cutoff and which computer you use?
I think it’s 7 for the kom challenge. The ‘road to kom’ in the summer is more generous :)
Ps I use a Karoo2. Great for touring and route following
@@kieranbarry8193 okay thanks for the info!
