- This newly designed weathering set brings a fresh formula of specialized key ingredients, giving you the most common tones and texture of accumulated rust. Our enamel paints can be applied straight from the bottle, directly onto the chosen areas of your model. Once they are dry, they have the same scale appearance as real crusted rust.
The model is to far from camera to see the all details
Absolutely
I was waiting for this kind of paints. Great.
I have this product on its way. I can’t wait to up my rust effect game for my models and videos.
Awesome products. cant wait to try. But these videos need better music. something less soft lol. just my opinion.
Todo en inglés? Y el Español..?... No puede ser....
Hello!
Good products and looking cool and very realistic while wet!
But I have some problem with this products as Lisa Falk too - when it is dry, there are bright dust effects on it :( I try to work with this products on acrylic, matt and gloss varnish, with many thinners, but it doesn`t work propertly (
when after drying products i covered it with AK 1015 varnish all dust effects disapiered.
it is how it must work?
may be there is some more detailed instruction how to work with it?
Thank you :)
What's the song? Love the beat and melodies.
the tank looks like a rusted tank before we start applying it!?
Doing a Yahoo search of "reddish rust on abandoned tanks" does yield a few pics with this amount of reddish rust. But because it is not as prevalent as brown rust, the application of this red product is met with some skepticism due to lack of familiarity. But like AK suggests, using real references as a guide is the best way to apply this amount of red.
Good advice. Is there a reference that lists "Color/shade" of rust for various types of iron and steel objects?
are there any none enamel versions of this product? i prefer to work with water-based
At this moment there is no verison enamel of these product, and about crusted rust deposit, this is enamel because enamel has properties that acrylic can’t give to achieve some effects ;)
Maybe try abteilung 502's oil paint?
Enamel weathering effects are far superior to acrylic water based ones for the simple fact they can be adjusted for hours after you apply them. With Acrylic ones you cant smooth and blend like you can with oils and enamels. They just dry too fast and when they are on they are on. Dont get me wrong when it comes to airbrushing/painting my models I use acrylics but for weathering its oils and enamels That being said Vallejo makes a lot of acrylic washes maybe try them
are all the layers still wet when you applied them ??
no =)
AK Interactive Official
Just used them on my Tiger 1
Wow
I most say it looks awesome
Thanks Bill, we hope that enjoy it :)
@@AKInteractiveOfficial what do you use to clean up this paint???
Why do military modellers always paint tanks like they have been sat in the scrapyard for 10 years?
'cause it's SUPER fun!!
What exactly is the point of posting this video? 720p with a ton of compression = total waste of time, that could be tomato ketchup for all we know.
Well, personally I'm pretty much dissapointed with that set . The dark rust deposit looks nothing like on the video .
bullshit product, just normal smoth paint whot dont give any texture... if you want one you need to do self... but on official fotos from AK site look like real one with "texstured deposit". Any way for blinds ones, daltons or just to lazy to mix colors is a perfect stuff.
