    Hello from Washington. I was dying to make this. (Ha ha ha) I just finished it. Looking at it, I felt something was not right. I sewed a leg on the arm spot and an arm on the leg spot.😢 now I have to re-do the arms and legs. At least it will look right and not like a science project. 😂

    As of Oct 9th I got the top part done, turned out great, the pelvis, turned out great, the tail bone, great, now get on with the arms, uuummm for the most part I got it down except when we came to the part about the 4 sts. Mine turned out flat but to me it's not to bad everything else on the arm is good. After all it is a skeleton, now to finish the rest. Thank you for this challenging (to me) project. Oh by the way, the skull turned out great too.😀

    I knew the second you got the lower jaw down on you'd say that!... The skeleton on the grandfather clock for Lady Amaltheia to go through to the Red Bull .... I can hear the band America singing 'The Last Unicorn' now.
    This is by far your most complicated, stitchwise, but brilliant pattern yet. Thank you so much from one of your Patreon subscribers

    How do you thread your yarn onto a curved needle. I bought a needle threader that has a hook for yarn and I still can’t get the yarn through. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    • @ComplicatedKnots
      @ComplicatedKnots  Год назад +1

      I've never found a needle threader strong enough to withstand threading yarn. I use an old cross-stitch/needleworking trick, I fold the yarn over the eye of the needle, pulling the strand tight so it holds the fold, then slide the needle out and just sort of place the eye over the folded yarn. It eliminates all the fiber fussing.

    Can you make a “weight” by making a pipe cleaner ball? Or do you need a rock type of weight?

    • @ComplicatedKnots
      @ComplicatedKnots  Год назад +3

      Hi! It needs to weigh more than the limbs to give him stability. If your pipecleaners are heavy it can work, but they wouldn't be the first thing I'd try.

    Is the “in the round” portion s slip stitch and chain 1 or is it just a spiral around for the magic circle parts?

    • @ComplicatedKnots
