I remember when a drunk idiot fan walked on the ground and walked him off when he was out playing in England. One of the commentators said 'anyone else and he'd have had a bat round the head'.
bcz in previous ball it was hit wicket or something and he was not given out and according to rule or something on the next ball the batter faces he has to leave the ball clearly and he will be given out thats why he didn't resisted
The beautiful game of cricket has been absolutely ruined and destroyed by shocking umpiring decisions and cheating over the years and happens at all levels from rural grass roots right through to internationals. Terribly sad indeed.
Most worst decisions were given against three Asia teams. Nowadays most of them are blaming that India does wrong things. But at past aus have done better than it. 🇱🇰
It boils down to the fact, that he always kept a cool head... I never saw even a single instance of him getting rueful and refusing the decision of the umpires... Even when his co-player started arguing, he would still calmly walk off the pitch... That's some self control...
That was one, and In another match he was 199 not out against Pakistan, so what happened was that Sri Lanka was 9 down and scoreboard on the ground showed he was 194* ( but it was actually 193*) so he played a 6 in the last bowl of the over and celebrated his 200 and then later on he comes to know he is actually shy of 1 run, and the next thing you the other batsman gets bowled in the following over before Sanga got a chance to bat. It was really really sad
You forgot to add Symonds' stumping blunder in SCG in 2008 when he was clearly out of the crease with nothing even touching the crease and yet third umpire gave not out...worst third umpiring decision ever
#9 is not fault of ABD. If you look at second replay, he was not at all looking behind when catch was taken. So he was conducting as per umpires decision.
That's' y we now have DRS in play ... it's a shame apart from really poor umpiring decisions - bowlers, fielders, or batters will cheat to win the game 'by hook or by crook'
No player has been subjected to more suspect decisions than Tendulkar. With the betting in the game, you have to question whether these are genuine mistakes by the umpires
Think about the FACT that the electronic system is programmed by humans some of whom have no clue about umpiring. There are no cameras in as good a position as umpires are. But for Indian Cricket DRS would have been used years earlier.
As much as people here think the umpires are cheating, they are just wrong. Umpires make mistakes just as players do. I'm not saying cheating doesn't occur, I'm sure there are rare occasions. As for the low down catches, there are times when a player truly believes they have caught the ball, this isn' the player cheating. The Michael Clarke catch, Clarke honestly believed he caught it fairly and Ponting backed him up and the umpire believed him. It was prior to DRS so the umpire also believed him. The umpire would normally checked with the square leg umpire to see if he thought it carried, I'm not sure if this occurred, but the square leg umpire may have also said he was unsighted. As for the batsman, he wouldn't have had a clear sight of the catch either. Right or wrong, he was given out and nothing more should have been said. Had DRS been in then it would likely have not been out in this case, but it's been shown that even with DRS it is sometimes extremely difficult to determine if any of the ball has touched the ground.
You missed another Bucknor classic: the lbw of Nasser Hussain in the England v Pakistan series in 2000-01. Nass was given leg before to a thick inside edge that took the leather off the ball!
The last one is wrongly put. The umpire mistakenly called over before the catch was taken in previous over, so as per the rules he had to give him out on this ball
No 1 is not cheating or umpiring error. If you look at batsman's reaction. Unfortunately no one knows actually what happened. One of the Cricket expert mentioned that it was a friendly match where each batsman would have to walk after certain period of time. Looks logical and only possibility to me.
Highlight of this video is that for the No.1 decision, ( the blind man) when given out by umpire , batsman does not even protest, and that is the biggest wonder. Come on at least show some emotion..
Just assume no drs no third umpire is there now ... And 1 wrong dicision..there will be a war ...so much aggressive players are there now ... But in history ... They are so cool just obey the dicision... Great ..
Very nice video.. but No 1 don't deserve the no 1 position.. 😊 because I heard that the same batsman was actually out on the previous delivery but umpire didn't give him out .. later umpire realised his mistake and he rectified it on the next delivery.. since it wasn't an international cricket match, batsman actually walked off..
the no 1 is just i... its just... most umpires don't even give a catch out without an appeal and he just gave it away and even the fielding side was confused no one even appealed
The last one even didn’t react for ball and the ball left the batsman freely but still umpire gave out 😂😂😂 but funny thing is most of decisions in favor of England and Australia and most of them are against India and Sri Lanka the rest country only 1 time feeling sorry for Indian & Sri Lankan brothers 😢😢😢
Thank god we now have the challenges.... If that was there 20 years ago, Tendulkar would be still batting. He was given out every time anyone appealed, sometimes even without an appeal 😅
Ponting was only asked if he caught the ball cleanly. The umpire had already made the decision he had. That is not asking the fielder if the batsman is out.
Bcj their was no Drs (except 2011 wc) most of the tym umpires made decisions against Sachin sir and he as a no 1 gentlemen in cricket tolerated it with his innocent smile 😢
The level of confidence and patience shown by Sachin
proves how much self control he is having

If DRS were introduced that time, most of the wrong decisions would have been reverted.
The irony is that India were against DRS for many years while also suffering some pretty bad decisions over that time.

Do you think they might have been selected by the channel owner? 😂
That BPL one, ABD one and the last one one were cases of Pure Blindness.
Had sachin have drs at that time, he could've scored 10 more centuries easily
It works both ways. He was given not out alot of times when he was out as well

Correct 💯
😢 Tendulkar's 99 & Sangakkara's 192 ( Century & Double Century) What a Shame ..😢😢 Sad From Sri 🇱🇰 Lanka
Notice that NONE of these decisions were made by Simon Tauffel, the best there ever was.
Simon, Billy and David Shepherd. 3 legends ❤

After watching the Tendulkar decision I understand why batsmen don't always walk.

BPL umpire needs to check- up his eyes..
You need to know what happening. Go searching this clip and than comment
Field umpires should be on the field for counting balls only. Rest of the decisions should be given by the 3rd (TV) umpire.
Respect for Sachin!
Respect for last man 😉
Respect for Sangakara 192😂
The way sachin walks out of the ground after dismissal make him the God of the Cricket
Sachin and lara always legends

At that time the monkey gate controversy had steamed up and he was in news. This was in the aftermath
We, witnessing the DRS era now having seen these kind of shitty errors realise how much the game has evolved - for the betterment of course ❤❤❤
#9 is not fault of ABD. If you look at second replay, he was not at all looking behind when catch was taken.

Blind fan😂
He was not looking behind as he knew he had a big nick and was out. He was just shocked the umpire said no . He should have walk off
Only the umpire considered the first one out. Even the bowler is surprised.

They are the reasons for DRS in cricket, but why bbl like big tournament still not allow DRS in this technolgical era🤷
To keep the game moving. DRS slows down the game - less exciting I guess.
Bro - they had already used their reviews.
DRS technology also costs a lot. Australian cricket board is not as rich as BCCI
This is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. @@zoeherriot

Worst cheater is in ICC cwc 2023 when Marcus was given not out in an out delivery which resulted in India s loss in the final against australia🇦🇺
Cry more chockers
Thx for DRS...Top umpires No clue when situation is tough
Think about the FACT that the electronic system is programmed by humans some of whom have no clue about umpiring. There are no cameras in as good a position as umpires are. But for Indian Cricket DRS would have been used years earlier.
Kumar sangakkara could hit 12 double century. 😢😢
Sangakara was wrongfully given out. who knows, with 140 to get he may have stolen the game from Australia
Could have been 14.
He had dismissed twice in the 190s vs pak

Last one , the umpire is either blind or into drugs
Australia was known for cheating. Oh yes, I caught it. It didn't bounce at all.
Tony Greg the legend. His voice will be forever missed.
The last one is wrongly put. The umpire mistakenly called over before the catch was taken in previous over, so as per the rules he had to give him out on this ball
That's BS. So the runs that were added after that previous wrong decision should be cancelled as well?
There is no such rule that he has to give him out. There is no rule in cricket which allows you to make another mistake to rectify first mistake.
@@TheShubhankacan you clarify this please? This particular clip went to viral on whatsapp some months ago.
0:15 When "Umpire" became the "Empire"😆
English and Aussies umpires are the worst of the lot, like other umpires are post-graduation and English and Aussie umpires are elementary pass.

Tendulkar had so many decisions against him, yet he never retaliate, such a gentleman of the game
Unlike grubby Gavaskar at the MCG in 1981.

Because Match was already fixed
Aus bought the umpires . No wonder they were no. 1 for so long.
obviously, the first one was unbelievable , it seem like a match fixing
List of dishonored and dishonest umpires would be incomplete without mentioning Steve Buckner.
Bucknor
The worst by far is the 2019 WC final overthrow
The didnt even appeal in the last one. You've got to be kidding me 😂😂
That's why the players reviewed system was implemented 👍, surprisingly the umpire David Shepherd was not up there to 🙄🙄🙄 he was 1 of the worst
Any wrong decision is a bad, there can't be a measuring unit for deciding which deserves first place in wrong decisions.
The rules for wides are, if you decde to hit the ball and you are caught, played on , you're out. You dont have to play a wide
Here after Sanju Samson's third umpire's decision
Ab honesty is another lvl
Umpire druk alcohol before match😂
Moral of video: Indian cricketers are saints. 😅

Despite that IPL teams celebrate and hire him as coach. What a joke?
I think the umpire on 9 was blind
The title should have been "Ten Appalling Umpiring Decisions in Cricket History".
The gentleman ABD 🔥
No fault of ABD. He was not at all looking behind when catch was taken.
So he was conducting as per umpires decision.
David Shepherd was the best umpire. He may have made mistakes but Bucknor was highly overrated.
Bucknor just Bucks. If ICC umpires make three rash and appalling decisions they should be suspended for a year and sent back for training.
Number 1...The way the batsman just walks of like he's hit it. )🤣
It was set up, notice how nobody reacts at all, in any case it was not a first class match so they may have taken some liberties with the rules
