Bairstow' dismissal was fair and in the spirit of cricket. Bairstow's arrogance got himself out. He had wandered out of his crease without any idea where the ball was on 2 occasions during that over. The arrogance is that he thought the rules did not apply to him. Every junior cricketer is told - always know where the ball is - basic game awareness.
From the lists, Jonny Bairstow, Muttiah Muralidharan and Wasim Akram have themselves to blame, since they didn't follow the rules of the game. But the rest of them, it's very sad what had happened to them. What Matthew Wade, Kieron Pollard, Suraj Randiv, Ryan Sidebottom and Shakib-Al-Hasan did, was totally selfish. They really destroyed their sportsmanship of another person that day.
bro ik right he had 5 seconds left too but shakib appealed that umpire didnt go to school thats y bro cant count lol what sri lanka did to india is not good but i wonder how many times that happend in international cricket lol
@@terryrichmond4428 maybe you don't watch cricket or any sports at all. Everything has rules, one way or the other, or else, why is it even call rules.
I think you need to drop the "cheating" term out of your header. The only one that "cheated" (for want of a better word) was Wade, and if the umpires didn't give it out, then that's their problem, not his. The rest (apart from Wasim and Javed being dicks) were all fine by me, and I umpired for 15 years.
All correct according to the Laws at the time. The bowlers deliberately bowling no balls to deny the batter a century is merely extremely unpleasant, but is allowed, although it might have been interesting to see what bets were laid and whether the bowlers should be copping a long ban.
England is always cheap when it comes to cricket, Giles used to bowl negative line to Sachin, and they cheated to win wc aswell..now they got hammerd in 23 wc and india dostroyed them 4-1 with youngsters....karma is a bitch
Collingwood incident is typical pommies... we are saints and others are not attitude... When they do it, it's in the rules, others do it, it's against spirit... I remember Dhoni booed before break for rightfully running out Bell... but Dhoni withdrew the appeal during break and got standing ovation... Bell made India suffer in that match after that... we are here to win matches, standing ovations can come later
It was bairstow fault. Why he casually moving when still ball movement on????
Yesss
And they just only appeal for it.
Therefore, it 3rd umpire fault
Nope he’s as out as fuck. And he knows it.

Well said!!!
Shameful moment by srilanka team that time , feeling sad for virendra sehwag.
How stupid to walk out of your creas
Fuk spirit of the game. Follow the rules and ensure Ball is dead before leaving your crease.

What about Sehwag Century?
What about Pollard ?
@@shrivatsankrishnan not cheating, it was within the Laws of the Game, just not really within the spirit.
@@markdalgleish3329- agreed
Muralitharan and Bairstow are silly to just walk out of the crease when the umpire hasn't signalled over! Stop calling it as "cheating".
poor sportsmenship from kieron pollard .why he has problem with lewis personal milestone...............
Gentleman game no gentleman
How is the run out cheating ? Johnny left his crease
Batsman should remember when the ball is dead I.e. when ball is over.
the Bairstow incidentt is not cheating he does the same thing himself
Cricket is like India's traffic: without rules.

Out of all, Paul Collingwood's and Brendon Mccullu's acts were very cheap.
Nothing I saw is cheating
who noticed the small boy on the field??
Bairstow was out, simple!

Randiv and Pollard are also not cheating but being dicks

England players almost cheated many matches on 30 years ago due to no technology, only umpire played with rules😊...
Shame on aus
Strangely no indian episodes of cheating????? How convenient is that????????
Because we know 😏 How we going to cheat
Because Indians don't cheat 😂
Wot use talking about if in the law book then it the lega is the rules of the game
Sometimes it appears to me that you so called experts dont have clue about cricket rules and regs
