Platypod Ultra and Extreme are two tripod alternatives for your camera. Their small footprint and low profile make them great for shooting low angle and fitting into tight spaces where traditional tripods can't go. The Platypod Ultra in particular has become my favorite desk tripod and tabletop tripod.

Great review. Love the Platypod equipment. I have the Ultra, Extreme, and the older Max (extreme w/o the cutouts or the pre-mounted feet). Also have the handle (x2) and both the Ergo and Elite heads. All very well built and backed up with good support. They have a lot of great ideas at their RUclips channel if you have questions.

I've got both and use them regularly. I'm surprised they didn't send you the Platyball head as well - that thing pairs PERFECTLY with the bases. The biggest benefit is when traveling, you don't have this humongous tripod sticking out the side of your bag.
