I think I’m THE perfect person for this palette…I’ve just been getting into Indie makeup lately. I’ve watched a lot of content on it and have purchased a few things from Glamlite, Oden’s Eye and Lethal Cosmetics which I am loving! I already had Adept on my list of brands to try and have wanted to dip my toes into the world of multichromes as well. I decided I would first try some lighter, softer colors in different textures. I want shades that are very iridescent and sparkly that could be worn with and without different colored bases for different effects. This Seahorse Palette seems like EXACTLY what I want! I swear I think the brand read my mind and made a palette just for me!😂❤ I’m so excited to try it out!!!!

These are definitely more office friendly. They are beautiful pastel toppers. Give me glow doesn't enhance your texture unless you put a thick layer on. Some shades are more thick than others. You will love them. Some look better applied with a finger, and some look better with a brush. I've never not loved one of my shades from them.
This is the best review I’ve seen so far on this palette! Super helpful ❤ It actually helped me decide to save up for it, because I love a lighter iridescent shimmer with my dark mattes. You’re the best!!
Thank for your honesty! I love Adept and even though I wasn't in love with the color story (many shades seemed too similar for the price) I still picked up the palette during the second round of early launch. It's on its way, but I'm concerned, since it doesn't seem to be that wet looking formula I love. It will probably still be good for everyday use, but the price... I hope this is not a trend they will continue with. Especially since the Inspired palette was $68 with one row of matte and 2 rows of super special shades (more special than these seem) Do the majority of these shades compare in inpact to any past Adept shades / formulas? Maybe the shimmers from the Amunet palette?
There are a few shades that are pigmented. Most of the palette is the dry sheer formula unfortunately. I still need to test it out more, but that's my impression so far. I hope you love yours.

Yes the Sindo shade is my favorite 😂 like how did you know?! I think this palette will be like a great everyday kind of palette for me. I don’t use neutrals much but I been trying to lately. With singles I usually buy more impactful shifty super strong shades lmao 😂 so it’s great to have this one because you get so many iridescent like shades. I know I love those wet formula too lol but I think it probably because the shades are so light they are they gotta be less wet or something. Yes I would love to see you do a video on Smokey Glam. Minka wasn't the most flattering on me either. I mainly go into that palette lightly to top some sparkle on. These are more smooth than the Mario palette. There are just a few thick shades in this palette.
I truly always love your honestly! You know I really wanted this palette but the price talked me out of it. The swatches and colors look beautiful but I am glad I skipped on it
Id love your thoughts on BBB pallette please! That's what I am getting asap. Its perfect. The price i have to pass on this pallette and i love Adept. I just realized I'm on my husband account lol sorry
I think skipping this one is a good decision. The formula is a miss for me. If I knew the formula would be like this, then I would have skipped it as well. I'll definitely film a first impressions with the new BBB palette💗
I totally disagree with your review on this. You're saying it's not worth the price because it's not as pigmented and impactful as your other Adept palettes but it says right in the description that it is 15 iridescent shadows. Iridescent shadows are translucent or transparent so of course it's not going to be as pigmented or impactful as something with an opaque base. Maybe you didnt understand what you were buying but you can't fault Adept for that. These are exactly what they're supposed to be. Iridescent and pastel multichromes. If you want them to have more impact, then you should try to layer them over other colors. They will completely transform over different colored bases. I also noticed that they are a lot deeper in color when they are swiped on and layered instead of tapped on like you did. I used 1 layer for iridescent coverage and a 2nd layer deepened the base and they becone pastel multichromes, although there are a few in here that are iridescent shades and nothing more like the pale green. As for the formula, I asked Adept and they said the textured shades are the Minka textured formula, and the smooth shades are either the smooth formula from Arrrow Inspired palette for the really smooth ones, and the others that are in-between those are the same as Linda from the Minka palette (the one with the holo). So none of them are a new formula. Personally, I love pastel and iridescent multichromes the best. The darker the base the less I love them. Not because they're not beautiful but because they're harder to pair with mattes. The lighter a multichrome base the more versatile it becomes. It bothers me when I can see the shades with darker bases through the sparkle, especially on the flaky shades where the base looks patchy/clumpy on the eye so I feel like I have to cover it with dark mattes and I don't always love using deep dark colors in my looks But with this palette I can choose whatever tone I want for the mattes and it will work and I love using pastels and jewel tones most. This palette is perfect with them! I really think you need to use this palette more over different bases, etc and then judge it again based on what it is instead of judging it against other Adept shadows in a completely different type of formula because that's being unfair to this palette.
this reminded me of when Heather demo’d a shade against a dark base and made me realize i would get twice as many colors this way 😝. i love iridescent shades and toppers so hoping i enjoy mine 😅. i didn’t have minka or inspired so wasn’t sure what the formulas would be like.
@@hijennwu Most of the Arrow Inspired palette is as smooth as glass. It's incredible how smooth they are. I used to think Minka was almost too heavily textured and flaky but then I bought a bunch of the super flaky shades that been released the last few months and now I really don't think it's bad at all. Plus I get at least 10x the compliments whenever I wear them than any other Adept palette so that helped too. Linda from Minka is a smooth silky shadow with just a bit of texture from all the extra sparkles thrown in. Out of Adept's multichrome formulas, that one feels most like a lot of my multichrome singles. I love it. Slightly drier feel that wears beautifully and doesn't have all that squishiness that always causes creasing on my eyes. I remember that video. Milly did one too. I haven't bought a dark based single since unless I first check my iridescents to see if I can make something close. I have saved so much money because of it. Anyways, Seahorse is beautiful and I think you'll love it. There's a few shades that are the same with a different base and that is the only thing I wish was different because I'm adding a base on a lot of them anyways but most do build up from iridescent to pastel so they're distinguishable from one another. But still I'd rather have more shifts received be different than bigger number of different bases with the same shift, if that makes any sense.
@@Superfreaky1RU it does! it was one thing i considered too before purchasing. i could see the differences when Brittany demo’d but i know what you mean by there could have been even more distinct colors. when adept offered it at 20% off & free s/h i figured it was the best moment to give it a go. i have other adept palettes so i’m excited to mix and match. brighter sparkly shades are my favorite. if they came out with a similar one with more neutrals i’d love that too! Minka was a little cool-toned for me which is why i didn’t get it. and i don’t wear as many greens although the colors/formulas in Inspired sound amazing. i have older eyelids and have had creasing too with other brands’ creamier formulas so hoping these work better for me. i haven’t swatched them yet. just appreciating them in their pristine condition first 😂🖤
I understand what you are saying. I knew exactly what I was buying. I understand that these are iridescent multichromes. I understand that they have a sheer base. I know that they will completely transform when layered on a deeper base. I wanted to layer each shade on my eyes about 2 dips so everyone could see the pigmentation. Obviously I can go in and build it up for more pigmentation.. I have to review the palette for what it is. It is a beautiful palette at a luxury price point.. Adept is not at fault. the palette is lovely. It is a good bang for your money when it comes to multichromes. However, I do not feel like each shade is made equally. This video was my first impressions. I always do updated reviews on my channel after testing the shades more. I think it is important to point out the different textures. I don't want someone to spend $140 and not know that it feels a little different compared to to other shimmer textures from the brand. I have been playing with this palette for a few days, and have come to really enjoy it. I never disliked the palette. I just wanted to point out that I don't think someone who enjoys intensive multichromes would enjoy this more subtle pastel iridescent palette. I appreciate your feedback. Enjoy your new palette.
So that’s what I thought as well but each single multichrome sells for 13-30$ each so really , it’s actually a great price but I had planned on not getting it because I’m broke 😂😂😂 but I bought it , they had the 20% off code and it came out to 112$ and free shipping .
I’m grateful for your review, the palette is definitely not for me, the price the pigmentation, the colors look repetitive. I haven’t seen this in other reviews, no one mentioned the dry formula
I haven't seen others mention it either. Maybe my palette is messed up? Surely others would have mentioned the huge formula difference... It is night and day difference. Either way mine is more of a topper formula.
Yes ! I was not impressed with anyones swatches yet . Not trying to be rude to anyone but the swatches are very muted , they just look like pastel shimmers . I don’t see much shift . They just look very anticlimactic

The price is crazy $140 that eyeshadow better be some magical $hit 😂 pretty but not worth the price in my opinion.
🤣 my thoughts exactly 💯
They look prettier in person especially like outside. The beauty shows up so much better verses on camera.
